Feet mesh

Dividedbythe9s Lumi follower straight up just uses hooves for actual feet. Anything I do, the textures do not work when I replace the nifs of another follower with these. That companion itself doesn't use scripts so I dunno why they work fine for it and not others.

That's the weird thing. It's not linked to the body texture. For whatever reason it suddenly feels like it when attached to another NPC.

nothing to do with scripts

bet the other npc get femalebody.dds on that

if the meshe have skin shader, it load nif texture, if the armor have no textureset, if the npc worn armor have no textureset, if the race race armor have no textureset, in that order

 

this allow argonian to keep their texture, when they equip the same iron armor as you

and this allow you to equip a cbbe armor when you use unp (you give textureset cbbe to that armor, when you equip it, cbbe is load on that armor, no problem, unless your cbbe body texture don't match your unp head texture)

 

so to load that on npc x, you give worn armor y to that npc, that use that texture on sbp 37

The hooves have their own texture files, they don't refer to the Femalebody-textures

You can try to set a texture group in the esp-file but it i sometimes had trouble to get this work, so if you don't want multiple color options it's easier to set the texture paths in the nif itself.

be sure that the texture paths in the nif files are correct

hooves_1.dds hooves_msn_1.dds hooves_s_1.dds hooves_sk_1.dds

npc x have worn armor y, game load worn armor textureset over race armor

I don't know.. sometimes texturesets are not loading, so the meshes don't have any textures at all.

Perhaps it's an issue wit MO or the virtual files system.

I think he tries to give those hooves to another NPC. I currently work on a custom-Lumi-female race with hooves, horns and tails.

problem is between the chair and the monitor

it wasn't worn armor texture that was load on that armor, there's no issue
