Hello, I had already taken out all careers. What exactly do you mean by CC career? Sorry, I do not know that well. Thank you for your help

CC careers like Dancing career....butler career....you'll know if you have them as they'll show up when your sim looks for a job on the mobile phone or computer.

Most of the problems are caused from the EA game patches and then the mods become broken.

 

I had to remove the UI Cheats mod after the patch because my menus quit responding.

 

Best fix is to remove all your script mods until they get updated.

 

Usually the makeup, hair, and other appearance mods are fine.

 

Sometimes it's better to wait on updating TS4 for a few days, until the modders can catch up, and just play in offline mode.

 

WW is normally just reporting all the 'other' mod errors and isn't really broken.

Having The Same Problem this is day two of me trying to fix it with no luck

 

Outdated Tunable Resource Error

Outdated Tunable Resource requires removing.

Tunable Game Resource with name 'career_Adult_NPC_Butler_SP09' contains incorrect/outdated information.

You need to locate the PACKAGE file, in your The Sims 4 Mods folder, that contains this resource and remove it. Try starting with the oldest modifications you have.
If this is a new issue, try removing the most recent mod you have installed.

 

 

 

Tried with no Wicked Perversions and no career mod but I still have the crash and error.

I'm starting to lose it it's driving me more insane than I already was

Yep fully removed everything related to a career in my mods folder as well as deleted the localthumbcache file with no luck

Ok.....What else you using mod wise? have you tried repairing the game via origin?.....The l/e says you still have a broken script file in there.....

Mostly WickedWhims stuff which I already tested and some cosmetic stuff for CAS my crash happens specifically when selecting a household I can still make sims and do anything else other actually play and yes I've tried repairing several times no luck

Household selection crash is usually broken cc in that household(had it myself)....can you load that household in manage worlds? if yes i'd check what cc they are using...clothing... also go into build mode if possible and check furniture etc.

furniture that gives a buff can cause problems...if necessary move that household out of the game and see if that works...

It happens no matter what household I try to load even if it's a default household

Ok...have you accidently added some sims 3 cc ?....you can't get into build mode or manage households?

You may have to do the 50/50.....remove all cc and add them back 3 or 4 at a time till you find the culprit......

Okay so just noticed that when I clicked run as administrator it's launching the legacy edition despite the fact I have a modern computer that more than matches the stats of the new Sims 4 version as well as the fact I don't have legacy in my library is it possible this is the cause?

Nevermind I went nuclear after rooting around my mods folder for about an hour and a half so i'll be starting completely fresh and just be adding back my CC slowly bit by bit
