wlsgh0319 Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Hello everyone. Before I begin, please forgive me for not being fluent in English. I just installed the latest version of the 'FNIS PCEA2' with MO and checked that MCM successfully added its menu when I loaded my saved game. I can see the PCEA2 category in MCM menu and everything seems perfectly fine-I got the toggle buttons of listed animations and PCEA refresh button-. The problem is, there's nothing showing up on animation list. It is completely blank. The directory I'm using to locate my animation mods is D:\Programs\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\ModOrganizer\mods\FNIS PCEA2\Meshes\actors\character\animations\FNIS_PCEA2\0_Custom\mt_idle.hkx Yes, of course I updated FNISforusers before launching the game. I tried waiting for at least 30 mins in game, since PCEA2 may needs some time to load the files. Still nothing on the list. I tried restoring the sample animations which are included when PCEA2 is installed for the first time, but no luck. I tried installing the PCEA2 manually -not with MO-, but nope. Animation mods for PC/NPC are working totally fine. I only can't apply PC exclusive animations using PCEA2. By the eight! Please help.. What did I do wrong?
Seijin8 Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 A couple thoughts on this: 1) Were there any output errors in FNIS when you ran it? 2) Are you using any mod (like Devious Devices) that may apply its own animation sets to the PC? Also if you want any further assistance, you will need to take Talos into your heart. In fact, the lack of respect for one of the NINE Divines may be the core of your problem.

I think there is no error. 2) This is all I have. -Skyrim Project Optimization -Unofficial Skyrim LE Patch -Cutting Room Floor -Static Mesh Improvement -A Quality World map -Skill Interface Re-Texture -Enhanced Lights and FX -Tamriel Reloaded HD (with ELFX, SMIM patch) -FNIS 7.4.5 -FNIS PCEA2 -HDT Physics Extensions -Enhanced Character Edit -SkyUI -A Matter of Time -SG Hair / Eyes / Eyebrows -Facelight Plus -Pretty Female Idles -Pretty Combat Animations (1H / Magic Casting) -some body mods... -XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended And I'm so sorry! By the NINE! I will pray to nine divines everyday if I can fix the problem!
Seijin8 Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 First thing: either your XP32 Maximum Skeleton isn't loading right or it is very old. Bone count should be 115, not 99. Second thing: There is nothing there about FNIS_PCEA2 (which FNISGenerate explicitly mentions when used), and it appears to be installing no animations. Something isn't set up right. If it is MO, make sure everything is being run through MO and is aimed at the right places. Your FNIS setup in MO should look something like this, using the blue and green wheels above the left corner of the window.

I didn't run FNIS via MO so far, because I thought it doesn't matter.. But I updated FNIS with MO and Skeleton(hkx) female: XPMS2HDT (115 bones) male: XPMS2HDT (115 bones) Patch: "GENDER Specific Animations" Patch: "SKELETON Arm Fix" Installing FNIS PCEA2 Reading FNISBase V7.4.5 ... Nine Divines smile on you friend! I will also give you a big smile. Thank you so much!
rex10124 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 I know this topic is old, and already resolved, but I'm having a different problem altogether. PCEA2 works just fine for me. But the problem here is some animations play, while some don't. Do I need the FNIS XL thingy or something?
fore Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 What do you mean EXACTLY by " some animations play, while some don't"? Which ones? For example the Oriental Swordmanship, if you ONLY tick those? Most of the time when user make this claim it is only because they don't understand how PCEA2/FNIS work. As always, you should read description, and here in particulae "FNIS Background". If you still have problems then explain what you experience, what you expect, what you set in MCM, how you test. And everything in utmost DETAIL.

Make sure some higher priority PCEA folder does not have the same animations. For example if you have an idle anim in 0something folder, and one with the same name in 5something folder, then the 5something one will not work.
