OhGufo Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I recently started a new mod setup with Skyrim. For the most part this has been working fine, but for some reason spells such as healing hands, the sexlab debug spells, and the sexlab matchmaker's target spell cause NPCs to immediately become hostile and attack me. I tried disabling every sexlab mod I have as well and healing hands still caused this to happen. Anybody have any clue what could be causing this? I'll attach my modlist and my load order to the post here. I use Mod Organizer, by the way. modlist.txt loadorder.txt

Grey Cloud Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Is it affecting all NPCs? I get it occassionally in my game with the PSQ Hand Of Desire spell but only on a specific character or type of character (the who or which escapes me at the minute). I don't use the SL spells but I've never had any problem with Healing Hands (though I don't use it often/much). I use Mass MM but not often - not had trouble with its spells.
RW311 Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Vigilantes of Stendarr maybe? They will attack even if you heal them so if that is who you tested on you don't have any problem they are set to react this way.

I ran some tests and it seems to be something along the lines of what these guys are saying. If I had to guess, it happens to NPCs with high aggression values but not to most of them. The ones that I tested this on when I made the post were all various ones found on the roads of skyrim (Nobles, Imperials, farmers, etc.) so maybe that has something to do with it. 10 hours ago, Psalam said: I am not familiar with the mod but could HitStop (looked at it on Nexus) cause the game to interpret these spells as hostile? I've got HitStop disabled at the moment but even if it was on I don't think it'd have much to do with it. As far as I know it just adds a brief dramatic pause to the game whenever your weapons hit something.

I been wracking my brain trying to remember who it is. It isn't RW311's Vigilants as they are hostile and attack on sight anyway. But I was getting 'uniforms'. Now your post makes me think Stormcloak or Imperial patrol. It's not guards in towns as I shag lots of them. It's soldiers in camps either for the same reason. It could be the mercenary with the noble I suppose. The question would be which mod is involved? I think the nobles are SIC? Too late here now, so I'll try and do something tomorrow. I don't use HitStop (never heard of it before today).
