I have a problem with amulets and anything that is on Slot 35 They are constantly disappearing When i load a save, the object is visible, but if i switch to another, or unequip/requip again, the object is invisible It's shown as worn in my inventory And the DD Hider slot is still on 41 so it's not a DD problem Thanks for your help !

What is " DD hider " ? "41" is for hairLine cap slot. In CK bodypart data amulets are using 35 slot, it should be the same in BsDismemberSkinInstance in the amulet.Nif. With the priority load higher than "5-15" (body\armor\gloves\etc), example - "20 - 35 " range. Hellethia Posted April 17, 2019 Author Posted April 17, 2019 They are indeed slot in 35 on both CK and nif files, but still have the problem happening. DD Hider is Devious Devices Hider slot, set to 41 by default
SleepyJim Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Is it only happening when your character is wearing a main piece of armour or clothing (in slot 32) or also when not wearing anything? If it's only when wearing a slot 32 item, does it happen for all armours/clothing or only specific ones? Some of Skyrim's vanilla armours are set to hide amulets - the tavern wench dress is definitely one. Their Armour record will be set for slot 32, but the Armour Add-on also has 35 set for it with a high priority value, meaning it won't remove an amulet but will hide it to stop it clipping. That system is quite flaky though. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Often it fails when loading a save, but removing/re-equipping an item will trigger it to work as intended.

It can happen any time, wearing nothing or armor. I really don't understand It didn't do it before, then it did on one amulett from a mod only, and now it's on all amulets
SleepyJim Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Hmm. I'm not sure why it would be happening then. If it started when you used an amulet from a specific mod though, that mod might be the best place to focus on.

Usually both will be set to the same slot(s) but sometimes the Armor Addon will have others added as well. Whichever slots are set in the Armor record are the ones the item occupies. The extra slots you may see in the Armor Addon aren't occupied by the item itself, but it should hide other items that use those slots if the Addons for those items have a lower priority. An example: Spoiler One of the farm outfits (worn by Hulda in the Bannered Mare) has these two entries: Armor ArmorAddon You can see from the Biped Object lists that the Armor record only occupies slot 32, but the Addon also includes slots 34, 35, 36 and 38. The Addon also has a priority value of 5 for men and 15 for women. If the character is wearing anything in those other slots with a lower priority then they should be hidden - but not removed - by the outfit. Addons for various items can have the same slots assigned, and the one with the highest priority will hide the others. That's how it's supposed to work at least, but it sometimes fails - as a lot of things tend to in Skyrim!

I'm probably not going to be able to help unless you can catch it as it happens and I might not be able to do so even then. If you can catch it happening (more or less) what you can try is to look at your character in the console (go into third person, open the console and click on your character). Among the many useful pieces of information there (about halfway down on the right) is the last mod that changed your character. If you catch it early enough after the amulet disappears you may be able to see what mod is making your change.
