Converting SSE headmesh to LE

So there are very little tutorials on how to do this, I can not for the life of me get it to work. I know I have to use Outfit studio and convert them to FXD then to Nif but when I try to import them into Racemenu (as I am trying to old, follower to player character trick) It just says failed to load data. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

in order to make a new head for Skyrim, you will need to make\add new morph\phoneme animation for it ( TRI files). I don't suggest you this idea if you are not a pro animator or 3D designer. Just make a mask mod with that head.

Dont need to. Did not know that Racemenu json files are cross compatible between SSE and LE

You just wanted the RM head preset from SSE to LE ? If so, than write your question specifically next time, cause it seemed like you needed to convert head nif file for another.

some like to do stuff the complicated way

 

open nothing special edition head nif, click on head mesh, export as .obj

open a random head nif, click on head mesh, import .obj

that's it

same for eyes, mouth, scar.... since those are for the replaced head in the nif
