MO FNIS creating mods from overwrite folders

I have a question regarding mods made from the folders in my overwrite thing in MO. I've found out that I should make new mods out of the folders in my overwrite (all folders are related to FNIS). What I just don't know is this;

I've created multiple new mods from my overwrite thing, but I don't know if I should enable all of these mods, or just the newest.

Depends on the contents of the overwrite folder. If it's just FNIS, I would keep it by itself.  Some mods create config ini, json, etc. to save their settings at run time, I would create individual mods for separate entities.

Since my overwrite folder only contains FNIS folders, should I then just create a mod with them and enable it afterward? That's what I've done now, but what about the other mods I created with FNIS folders? Should I disable those and only enable the latest i've made or should they all be enabled?

The mod at the lowest position in your left pane (highest priority number) will take precedence and overwrite other fnis files.

What I do is make a new empty mod called "FNIS MyProfileName" for each MO2 profile and then use the "Create files in mod instead of overwrite" feature of MO2 (Modify Executables) assigning this to the aforementioned mod. You can then run FNIS and the files will all be written to that specified mod. Obviously don't forget to disable any similar mods you made for other MO profiles. The Modify Executables settings are profile specific so if you switch MO profile they will change to the settings for that profile.

You can do this for other executables too, for example, I have an XeditCache mod. It's also good for things like mator smash and wrye bash etc.

To simply answer your question: if it's only FNIS output, keep the newest and just delete the others, this prevents you from accidently enabling one you don't want to have, you won't need them anymore and in case you'd do, you can just re-run FNIS.

Here's what my overwrite folder looks like after I've updated FNIS behavior. I don't know a lot about files, so I don't know if these are output files.

Also, you said that in case I do need it, I should just re-run FNIS. What do you mean by that?
