Towel glitch

[Sims Saga]

Hello guys,

I've got some glitch that really piss me off and I wonder if someone has the magic solution to solve this!

 

As you can see, when my sims change outfit in locker rooms, they put their towel on, but also tons of clothes ridicously inappropriate.

 

Does someone know how to correct it?

I take it your game is up to date?......you could try deleting localthumbcache.pkg file and doing a repair via origin.

If that doesn't work remove your mods folder delete localthumbcache.pkg file start a new game with a new sim then exit without saving....delete localthumbcache.pkg file again(always do this when adding new cc or mods and when the game updates) put your mods folder back in and restart the game.

Looks like a lot of the cc she's wearing is flagged for nude...if you have sims4studio you can load it up and unflag it...I always have s4s running when I download new cc so I can check the flags.....good luck.

THIS is the habit I need to get into. Every morning I come home from work with a mass of CC (Third shift has a lot of down time, mmm'kay? :)) And I just throw it into their folders on the game PC. I'll delete mod folders before installing updates like I've been taught. But never gave deleting localthumbnailcache every time a thought.

It keeps the game tidy   I'd consider using sims4studio as well.....you can load up cc clothes etc and check the flag....I've had shoes flagged for nude which I changed.

I used that to stop townies from running around with double dildos in their hands. I had to finally tag the feralpoodles Ramona hair, because it was freaking EVERYWHERE.

You should put new CC into test folders first, its easier to sort them out later. ?

This is a known EA bug. If deleting the cache and repairing the game doesn't work, then you're unfortunately out of luck.

Have you used the moveobjects on cheat?...………..Try turning it off...…….it works for a lot of people....

Thanks but it didn't work... I've got the same issue with sauna clothes by the way.

And when I clean all ridiculous outfits with MCCC, the shoes always remain !...

My male sims put his towel with female high heel boots after his shower right now...

Is it cc stuff? if it is it could be flagged for nude...if you have sims4studio you can load it up and unflag it......very weird this was supposed to have been fixed ages ago...

Done my own testing. Deleted cache, repaired game and checked for flags in S4S. It happens even with vanilla clothing so I think the bug has resurfaced (or was never fixed in the first place)

Broken again then...….though i'm not getting this in my game,which is weird if others are.....

It seems like the June patch broke it again since most of the reports about it on the EA forum mention 1.53. It's sounds like a glitch with the game itself since people with no mods or CC are affected too.

Like I say I'm not getting this problem and I have loads of cc stuff....not seeing base game stuff either....very weird.

It was never fixed to begin with since it wasn't game breaking. It requires certain "conditions" to trigger it. What those conditions are I don't know cause I've never been able to duplicate it.

I've never seen it either but as someone who makes most of their own mods I can say it's not really weird either. Not everyone is going to be affected by a game bug. Some bugs require certain "conditions" to get triggered.

It was mentioned as being fixed a few patches ago (1.50 or something) but IIRC it was still present on pre-patch saves. The strange thing is that it now affects fresh installs and new saves regardless if you use CC or not. 

Whatever causes it, EA have been pretty quiet about it.

EA lied all they did was suppress it. Their notorious for doing that and did that quite frequently with TS3.

This was on the sims forums and according to the gurus was caused by using the moveobjects on cheat.....turning this off  cured this,but you needed to do this at every gym or spa your sim visited.....like I've said though I haven't had this happen....which is weird...

Yeah I saw they said that but I doubt that is what's really causing it for 3 reasons.

 

The glitch also happens to people who have never used the MOO cheat or any cheat for that matter. And some don't even use mods either.

And for those that have used the MOO cheat turning it off does not work for all of them. Although you should never leave MOO cheat on anyway.

And if it was the MOO cheat causing it. It would be simple to duplicate it and I have never been able to duplicate it.

 

They don't know what is causing it and they should just be honest and admit it. It's pretty obvious it's being caused by other things. The MOO cheat could be one of the conditions that causes it but it's not the only one.
