(btw. in that case it would be nice if there was a soft check for Player Comments to disable it while a scene is running - or maybe it could be in AAF, i will have a look at how best to do it and maybe present it as a suggestion).

I think it seems to happen more when i open Pipboy right when the DD is trying to equip - Yes, now when i think about it, that must be it - DD probably checks whether a menu/Pipboy is open to determine whether a device is being put on manually by player in which case it has to ask the player whether to put on and lock the device or manipulate the locks, etc...

Me opening Pipboy causes DD to "think" i am equipping the items manually on the inventory screen, so it asks.

@MrCruelJohnI dont think the instance you see in resaver is the issue to be honest. There is something wonky with the packaging on the stalkers that I need to look into. Something that is preventing them from moving towards the player. They are filled from an alias perspective, otherwise the script wouldnt be running - and you wouldnt have an instance in resaver - but yes, something about the packaging is conflicting I think and the NPC doesnt know how to move. I'll look into that this week. As for you question of what imprisonment is, it is a consequence of surrendering to bounty hunters via dialogue and then being sent to Diamond City jail. It is not a consequence of CSA from Elements Vol.1.

Oh okay.  I get jail.  Haha. No problem there.  Just one thing. If I dont run quickly to the jail door and call the guard, once he opens it to come in.... for say sexual harrassment, the option goes away.  Have to do the time instead of paying or bj.

  On the Stalker thing I have had them stalk me, and can see them following, it does not happen with every "distant eyes on me" but it does happen, they never approach unless I sleep, and then they may or may not do the dirty, and leave me with 2 min to kill them and get my gear back.

 

  But for me they have been working sometimes, but like I said every "distant eyes on me" does not always produce a visible stalker, but I can understand that as quite often I may kill them or just fast travel, move to fast a far away, so for me it has kind of made sense.

 

  But if they are suppose to approach me and possibly rape me when not sleeping then that has never happened.

I get robbed in my sleep.  I get blackout and robbed.  I have never been assaulted with elements. 

 

I see the stalker and leave alone. Even if I turn off seeing stalker, I still do.  I prefer the unknown.

 

The only thing a stalker has done is put me in devious devices.  

 

The only time i have been assaulted in my sleep, in various locations, is RSE.  I have been assaulted by the robber as well, and the blackout event.  Which is under advanced needs.  

 

And I have only been kidnapped in my sleep in RSE.  

 

I dont think, know about assaulted when awake.  If true, it has never happened.

sounds like you affair with stalkers is similar to mine, They do work though for me, I kind of wish I could limit what they take, Some things I have made or carry I would really hate to lose.

 

Edit >>> I mean I can limit what is taken with most other events as in abduction, lost battle and abused, but as best I can tell I can not limit the stalkers thievery, I mean I may have missed it in the MCM but I have not found a way to limit there theft.

I have been thinking about that nudity check aka fragment check problem, ignore if ramblings make no sense.

 

1. as and example take bInvalidateOlderFiles=1  which is and INI setting used in Oblivion, and skyrim, but is pretty much redundant anymore , but for Oblivion it set the load order strength, as in the last file in your load order had president or power to override any .esp,esm before it.

 

2. that was just and INI example okay, not the problem nor should it be looked at harshly I did not give a full description of it function anyway, but something else to consider is the fact that all loose files always have president over BSA files.

 

3. Is it possible that some how a loose file is being looked for in the fragment, and is for some strange reason beth's engine is disregarding any BSA file. If such a thing were possible then the BSA would be ignored entirely.  

 

4. Please excuse me if I have said something that makes not sense at all, but it is a puzzling thing to me, and I like you am curious as to why I have this problem, but some other people do not.

 

5. I am fine by the way because you gave me those fragments, and my installing them makes it all work fine, but it will not work right with out them. But the fact that it works right for others, makes me feel I have something wrong, and it bugs me.

Well, this is weird... will test this scenario over... I tried to enable papyrus logging before I tried this test … is there a different way? 

 

But I can't find log file...

Here,  you can see I am at Red Rocket Lexington... on the ground you can see Piper...

Sorry @Flashy (JoeR) but I tried to capture it... the real question is who was my companion as I left Piper back at Red Rocket Lexington...?????

 

Some reason I couldn't get a screen shot... companion is a Whirlygig Sentry that was kidnapped?????  At least that's what the pop up said.... 

 

So I went to do the mission, RSE Rescue... Fallon's … COC'd my way there... quest marker disappeared once I went into fallon's… then showed new location... I COC'd my way back up to sanctuary... and the picture speaks for itself...

I had the logging on... so I thought... maybe I can't find the right file or putting in the Fallout 4 ini file isn't right?  Do I  need to put in my fallout 4 custom ini as well?

EDIT: TO SAY, THIS IS LIKE AAF PROSTITUTION HAVING A CHARACTER ISSUE LIKE THIS... TURRETS AND WEIRD STUFF SHOWING UP TO BE CLIENTS... HAHAHAA....  HE FIXED HIS....

Okay, did a 2nd run in another location a bit away from the stalker... scrapped the whirligig sentry... worked with the stalker, assaulted me... then went agro, and CSA happened.  I was able to bribe my way out...  this run worked flawlessly.

 

3rd run in location #3 - a bit further from the original stalker... but he is still around... not once, but twice, robbed in my sleep (MCM is OFF on everything but kidnapping) …. should be no robbed in my sleep (Advanced needs has work required)

Went to sleep 4 hrs in between... MCM is off on all things but the kidnapping part... I know... this is under Advanced Needs. (but part of stalking?)  .. this is a problem.... MCM needs linked to code... zero = zero chance... kidnapping maxed at 5 (never happens).

 

Robbers need to run away?  they stood there for hours while I tried to get out of my restraints to kill them...  

 

So Location #4 - Stalker is closer and I sleep again... assaulted... after - goes agro and CSA happens … should stalker run off and not immediately hostile?

yay!  finally a stalker assaults me in my sleep!  Agro and then CSA.  I do not bribe him this time...  YAY!  finally taken to somewhere other than Monsieur Plaza.  Problem:  I am asked what to do with my companions?  WHAT COMPANION?  Piper is still at Red Rocket Lexington.... whirligig sentries scrapped (I replaced them with Turrets)

 

BTW @Flashy (JoeR) ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE CREEPY WHISPERING THE STALKER DOES!  IT IS THINGS LIKE THIS THAT MAKE YOUR WORK AWESOME!

 

The approachers work!  I am beaten for bad answers... everything works... till the end....

 

1) I cannot use the sleeping bag to sleep because the karma thing happens and I am placed in Devious Devices when I wake up... bad news if gagged... can't answer them... beaten for not responding (mmmmm is not an acceptable answer)

2)  sometimes I can answer them when gagged... weird

3)  the approacher's voice changes from male to female.

4)  they tire of me, pop up says they leave me somewhere else!  Not so... screen goes black... I am still in the jail cell (BATDL office) … bound... I get free.  Sparta has my stuff... she is the quest marker... can't pick pocket her.... can't retrieve my stuff... quest fails when sparts and other raiders go agro… I die...  because, I can't get my stuff and have my pipboy missing as well... so, since I was gagged, can't answer, beaten, my health is near 10%

 

So, there needs to be blockage between Karma and CSA when CSA has you abducted.  MCM sliders / options need to work (tie in from Advanced Needs on the kidnapping/robbed in sleep - amongst most everything else in Advanced needs... needs remedied) … 

 

Screen shot below show hunger... was hungry and starvation the whole time even after eating ... drinking worked fine... I had automatic bathroom needs on..

And finally, after Sparta keeps killing me... I cannot get out of the BTADL Office... I am stuck in a loop, I am not abandoned out of the hot zone... so unless I vastly cheat, this game is over, stuck in a loop.

 

Not saying @Flashy (JoeR) this is all Elements... I also do have @stobor Raider's pet installed as well... this may be an issue with the 2 colliding at the BTADL Office with the Raiders... Sparta is a raider boss I think... all other AAF related mods, Harrasssment, Prostitution, Violate... all basically deactivated and not working so not to interfere with Elements CSA/Karma testing (since you provided updates Flashy - and work better... just some fine touches needed)

 

But the other things... Karma and CSA are colliding... Advanced Needs has direct issues within itself and gets locked up when I basically am on edge of death due to starvation... 

 

Oh, and once again... I have NO COMPANION with me!  Zero... I scrapped the whirligig sentries... but guess what?

Once again, you can see RSE: Rescue?  Again?  WHO?  If sparta didn't keep killing me and locked me in a loop, I might get out and see who it is... I bet it is another turret.

 

I am testing this because you are locked up with Malia @Flashy (JoeR)... understandable... but I think Raider's Pet @stobor may have something to do with the Raiders... at least the latest CSA and Karma is working better!

 

@stobor I mention this so you can see what might be happening... it is only to help you and flashy make the best mods possible … I am presuming a lot of people are running with both or more of these mods... considering there is a handful of mainstays here on Lover's Lab for Fallout..... Fallout 4 continues to live because of you and Flashy.  But honestly, I think it is dying off... it is not skyrim…. and the only way to get more people back to Fallout is via your awesome mods.

 

I do hope this helps out... and of course, I will continue to test as I go... and provide feedback for every element (quality assurance I think is what they call it)…. 

 

and I do intend to get to Raider's Pet 1.3... I am sure feed back forthcoming.  I will reload my game at Red Rocket Lexington... and go... all prepped and primed.

PS - one parting photo - this is what happens when you have Sexual Harrassment and Piper took me down from 100 will power and 35 dominance in 5 approaches - I think she is programmed to be very - overbearing... be cautious as who your companion is... added her so I can try the Nemesis after Raider's Pet...

Two new installs this weekend. First with Horizon. Install is with  sim settlements workshop rearranged/build items clothes and weather/texture changes (not from mods).

 

2nd install same but with no Horizon, Horizon patches, etc.   Sim settlements workshop rearranged clothing weather etc. 

 

No special game play mods, no leveling up mods, no animations.

 

All had AAF and animations plus AAF mods (violate, family planning, Elements) after cosworth and sanctuary workbench claimed.

 

Stalker - horizon game - collecting flowers, killed bugs by river, shot at raider with dog at shack.  Killed dog, injured raider who immediately became stalker.  Left him alone.  Tested him.  No reactions or events with him in sight.  I was lvl 1 with no karma as I had done nothing in sanctuary.   

 

Stalker - 2nd game.  No horizon. Pilfered sanctuary after workbench. Got some devious devices. Lvl 1 and some karma from picking what safes I could.  Root cellar.  Blindfold. Decided to sleep night in root cellar. Woke up having been robbed raider still there. Got out of devious and killed her.  Robbed in sleep off. Low karma and lvl 1. Certainly not to the "20" points karma before consequences. 

 

Interestingly, once I got to Red Rocket consequences stopped when I went to sleep.

 

Speaking consequence.... red rocket. Horizon level 3.  Standard game lvl 12 (as I did other runabouts)... I have bounty hunters set at lvl 10, 168 hours...

 

Horizon 17 karma. Non horizon 56 karma.  Both games have the same sequence

 

Bounty hunters show up, I bribe the hunters. The disappear.  About 2 mins later "new bounty posted"   within about 15 minutes of building they show up. Same in game day. Bribe again. Go away.  2 mins later a new bounty. I ran out of caps.  Beaten restrained.  2 mins another bounty. 15 minutes they are back. 

 

I tried this until it got dark in game, within same game day, 6 arrivals, 6 consequences with last one going to jail.  I stopped. That was enough for me.

 

So, something is going on with call for bounty hunters.  Also. Offering myself goes through speech and action, but doesnt resolve bounty hunters and have to bribe or accept the beating/jail anyway.

 

Additionally. The beating and crippling plays the animation but health bar full.  So no affect like previous.

 

I know you are busy @Flashy (JoeR) but wanted to let you know.

   I'm running into a weird issue with the nudity check. that seems to be cropping up with this latest version of Karma. When I start a fresh save and turn it on, the nudity check works, but on occasion, when I go back into Karma's MCM settings, the Nudity Check will still be on, but all the options underneath it are gone. From that point on, Nudity checks stop working altogether.

 

   The first time I got it working again was after I basically blew away all my installed mods and started from scratched on a clean save with mostly just my AAF build and a few other mods running for testing purposes. Once again, it starts working at first, but as soon as I go back into Karma's options after initially turning it on, the Nudity Check function dies again. 

 

   HAs anyone else run into this? Also, is there someplace where I can download version 3.3 of Karma or older?

Hey Flashy

 

I just want to say thanks for AAF RSE 4.  I recently rebuilt FO4, using Vortex as the mod manager.  I decided to give RSE a try again and I must say its performing very well - pretty much flawless to this point.  I've tested most of components and have had no issues.  Could be the new build, the maturation of AFF , Vortex or a combination of it all.  I'm just glad I grabbed it before you took it down - really enjoying it.  I do miss the Yuum from cumguzzler.  Not sure why you abandoned it but I'm sure you have your reasons.  I always thought it had  a lot of potential.  Good luck in you future endeavors.

Two balance issue notes from my own perspective.

 

1: It would be nice to disable specific portions of negative karma rating via MCM, for example I personally would not prefer negative karma for lockpicking anything in abandoned areas although I may want to keep the portion for having unprotected sex etc.   Expanding on these options might be beneficial to some as there appears to be a large number of ways to lose karma and much fewer ways to gain karma.   Alternatively perhaps a method to adjust karma loss and gains settings via slider, so that you can set quest completions a higher value than losses to lockpicking etc.

 

2: Another way to GAIN karma is to set up trade routes.  This however can be spammed by cycling the same settler through different trade routes within seconds.  Since the karma loss system seemed too high for me, this ended up being the method I chose to re-establish karma and turned out to enforce negative player habits (admittedly in myself.  I am weak willed, ok!!!) Perhaps a solution would be a cooldown for trade route establishment karma gains or allowing for the toggle or slider for values on this setting as stated above for negative karma.
