Cannot save edited details

Since yesterday I've tried to update the description (to match the newly uploaded version) of one of my files multiple times without any success.

I go from File Actions -> Edit Details, do some light editing, then Save. After a while this ends up either with Cloudflare reporting "Error 524 A timeout occured" (indicating error at www.loverslab.com) or with a fairly non-descript Network protocol error (page cannot be displayed...). None of my editing gets saved.

If it matters the file description is longer than usual on the site and it is the following file:

https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/6223-sims-4-erplederps-hot-stuff-sexy-things-for-your-sims-28219-tank-top-with-pokies/

One strange thing I noticed during subsequent attempts at editing is that while the description's body now contains an older version of an image I tried to update (tank tops), the Uploaded images sections already shows only the newer version. Is it possible that one of the updates was only partial and somehow corrupted the files on the server (thus preventing further updates)...? Is the server under a DoS attack...?

I've never had this issue before. Both general latency and upload/download speeds of my internet connection seem ok, although the upload speed to the US is noticeably lower than the local one, only about 100 kB/s.

Any ideas? :)

Me too. I've been trying to update my (non-file) thread since the problems on Saturday and while the site seems back to normal now, I'm still getting a 524 trying to edit. I've been able to make small edits to a couple other posts but apparently a 116KB edit :tounge_xd: to the one is too much.

It seems to have something to do with the number of external links in the post's update content. The more external links there are, the longer it takes to post and the more likely it is to error in the end. Making a post with just a copy of your Recommended Mods and Tool Credits section for example has the same issue, but posting a full copy of it with all links removed posts fine.

New forum software must be doing some kind of processing with external links that is slowing updates down a bunch. Will check it out more as I can and fix as soon as possible.
