Can anyone tell me how to 1.extract the Powerblow Animations for KASUMI and AYANE. 2. and how to swap the break blow animation files with the powerblow animation? thanks!

you have to manually look for it in "RRPreview". It has no actual name from my knowledge. gatto tom is the only person who knows where power blows are, if he remembers. but because it's not naturally apart of the game, it's going to look nothing like how it was in DoA5.......but finding the power blow camera and finding the power blow timer or editing the break blow timer may help.........

1. If powerblow cameras are even in the game and they are not already modified and being used for break blows, and 2. if you find the break blow timer, there's probably no real way in changing the timer, slow motion, whatever you want to call it right now or even ever. I was told that I can't set RRPreview as layer2 and it may never come as a patch.

DoA6 modding has A Lot of limitations, compared to what I see with DoA5 mods. We don't have that much freedom with DoA6 because of Koei Tecmo and/or Team Ninja. They did threaten to not release DoA6 on PC before, because of all the modding in DoA5. After that statement all they did was piss us off. And Koei Tecmo is still removing videos and deleting YouTube channels that has nude mods of the DoA girls. So I'm not very sure if we will ever have just as much freedom 3 years from now like DoA5, unless Koei Tecmo embraces modding in DoA6 like Bethesda with Fallout and Skyrim......then slowly starts monetizing mods. I imagine that DoA7 or even DoA6: Ultimate and Last Round will be even harder to mod if they don't. And I can also see Koei Tecmo going after people who put paid mods in their patreon and shutting those down or even suing them. It seems like publishers are going after people, for doing things that they don't like a lot lately.

BTW,

1: Is it possible for me to release my own patch that adds the ability to change facial expressions and animations with other Layer2 folders, like my Moka mod for an example? I have some Break Blow expressions and maybe winning poses I want to add to my mods, without overwriting Kokoro and Lisa's default animations. I mentioned it to Vagonumero13, but they never said anything about it.

Current expression I use

In this case they are doing the right thing. This PATREON must be destroyed.

Hey im new doing mods and i succed editing one costume and show it ingame but I have some questions if u could answer :,D

- How do i edit textures? I mean the 3D model is grey and if I go to "Texture paint" they arent there. I readed about files in Material editor (f.ex. MPR_Muscle_Character_BASCOS001_b01_BLEND_kidsalb) but IDK how to import them to Blender)

-How do I edit "4D" parts of a costume? Blender gives me error. And do my own "4D" stuff

-(How to say this...) I wanna add more things to the costume, not just editing with modeling mode or sculping, but if i ADD things they dont look attached to the body so if it moves the leg it dont follow the move and just levitates (example in screenshoot, ingame those figures i added dont move with the character)

- I tried to edit hair but exporting to game it doesnt change, what im doing bad? I edit it like a normal costume.

I have 2 days of experience in blender sorry if im doing things really bad xd and ty for answering

I've had blender for a few years myself but didn't really start using it till a few months ago.  There seems to be often atleast 2 or more ways to achieve the same action which doesn't always help a new user learn how to do things. I know alot more about using blender then i did a few month ago but still have a very long way to go and have googled how to do many things.

I've also found that mesh editing can be very trial and error with what works and what doesn't...there can be mesh explosion where it seemed there shouldn't have been any.

- How do i edit textures? I mean the 3D model is grey and if I go to "Texture paint" they arent there. I readed about files in Material editor (f.ex. MPR_Muscle_Character_BASCOS001_b01_BLEND_kidsalb) but IDK how to import them to Blender)

The easiest way to edit textures is in a program like photoshop.  I'm assuming you know how to get the MPR g1t texture files but you also need the Link Data Tool ,found near the top of this page: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/117795-dead-or-alive-6-modding-thread-and-discussion/ to convert them to dds format from g1t so you can open them in photoshop or blender (you may also need the Intel Texture Works Plugin or the nvidia plugin to save dds if working in photoshop.

If you want to put textures on your model in blender (in this case the converted dds files) so you can see them and paint on them...you could do it this way:

on the Material Tab click new

1.jpg.e309ad16a7559d09153ce00e1e98d4ec.jpg

After you click new you will get this:

2.jpg.8cdae6d7a422544d7f6f8d12b7530fb4.jpg

Now go to the texture tab and hit new

3.jpg.c538124d71acf2285ac19a9f6b659d3a.jpg

Then open the texture file(s) you want to use:

4.jpg.342e4070d614d202fc4769e035383c76.jpg

5.jpg.71e055d59c9876935472dbc1c2d22ead.jpg

Notice you still don't see the texture on the model...now go to the Texture Paint mode:

6.jpg.62851240ac5c5b0f8028a2f7a0ecaa32.jpg

You should now see the texture on your model and can paint on it if you choose to...

7.jpg.d52576bb050297e6da58f6f296990010.jpg

When done editing the texture (whether in photoshop or blender) you will need to use the link data tool again to convert your edited dds files back to g1t.

-How do I edit "4D" parts of a costume? Blender gives me error. And do my own "4D" stuff

Short answer is i don't know how or if you can at this point.  I want to edit a few 4D error parts myself.

-(How to say this...) I wanna add more things to the costume, not just editing with modeling mode or sculping, but if i ADD things they dont look attached to the body so if it moves the leg it dont follow the move and just levitates (example in screenshoot, ingame those figures i added dont move with the character)

If the new part your adding doesn't move with the body part you want it to it likely needs to weight painted or have a weight transfer done to it to match the area you added it to.

I have 2 days of experience in blender sorry if im doing things really bad xd and ty for answering

If you look through this thread, I think hair editing has been covered atleast somewhat decently a few times.  I haven't edited hair beyond color yet so i don't have much experience with it.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. We hope you write a tutorial on how to make mods with Blender.

Glad i could help in some way. Honestly, i wouldn't be the person to write an in-depth how-to tutorial.  There are things i want to do with modding within blender that i don't know how to do yet myself.  No one has written one because it would be a very time consuming...tedious process to do and cover all the details of it.  I think there are only a few people who know how to do most of what they want and even fewer of them would even remotely consider taking or have the time to put it all into print.

You can always ask a question and hope for a reply but some googling might help too.

you have to convert the MPR g1t file or files you want to edit from g1t to dds no matter what program you want to use to edit them...and then back into g1t when your done editing.

I don't do any texture editing/painting in blender but it's possible and there are people who are quite good at it.  For me photoshop is much easier to use. Texture editing is not very difficult but can be tedious to get the results you want. Sometimes it's hard to find where part of the texture sits in relation to where it actually is on the mesh.  One thing i've done is painted different color lines, dots, numbers, or letters on the texture map within photoshop,  put it back in the game and took a look at it on the character.  I have not done it but you could skip loading the game or atleast not do it as much by checking your results in blender instead.  Probably worth mentioning that the kidsalb.g1t file may be all you need to edit but sometimes you may have to edit the kidsocc.g1t...and the kidsrfr.g1t texture files as well to achieve what your going for.
