Ernest Lemmingway Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 After using TexBlend (full version, not Lite) through MO in a vain attempt to fix a wrist gap my body textures aren't loading in the game. The face textures work but the bodies for males and females are a glowing blue/violet shade that indicate missing textures in character creation and after creating a character. I've reinstalled the texture mods, run Bodyslide countless times, used TexBlend Lite, even tried to use TexBlend full again and nothing is working. All this was done through MO. This is a new game, not a saved game. I can't figure out how to fix this.
RW311 Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Maybe texBlend dumped the problem texture into the skyrim data files and mo cannot overwrite that? Just check in data\textures and see if any texture has been dumped in there for female body.
SpyVsPie Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Not really familiar with the MO virtual folder shenanigans but have you manually checked the folder where the textures should be (textures/actors/character/male and female in the normal folder, no fucking clue in MO) and that they are in the correct format?

Done that. There's no Texture folder in the core game's Data folder. Right now I'm checking the folders of every mod that was modified over the last three days to ensure there's nothing there that shouldn't be. Those are where MO likes dumping files with TexBlend instead of to MO's Overwrite folder despite my every attempt at editing the config.xml file. Right now I'm convinced it's MO's virtual Data folder that's at fault and I can't figure out how to access it to clean it out.
Ernest Lemmingway Posted February 22, 2019 Author Posted February 22, 2019 I've checked every folder that was modified in the last four days for any errant textures and there's nothing. The following are screenshots of what I'm seeing when I try to create a new game. Note that the female heads fix themselves if I change race. Spoiler
Ernest Lemmingway Posted February 26, 2019 Author Posted February 26, 2019 Okay, it wasn't Texture Blender after all. It was the newest version of AIO HDT-SMP. Weird thing is, I didn't use it when building my body. Oh well, removed it and everything works now.
