SirNibbles Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 As most animators probably know, FootIK off can screw over your animations concerning the feet. So in order to counter that you can add the "s -AVbHumanoidFootIKDisable" line for FNIS to disable it for that specific animation, that much I know. Now for some reason whenever I add that to my animations lately it doesn't work. The animations I add the tag for just keep screwing over the feet part of the animation. I am using the tag, and manually tried to add the tag in the FNIS list but it just doesn't work. Strangely enough this used to work for my animations (half of the times) but for whatever reason my animations that were working good with the tag are not working anymore and a new one I have is having the same problem. Currently I added the tag "s -AVbHumanoidFootIKDisable" in front of my animations in the FNIS list but it's not working. So I was wondering if anyone here can help me with this problem or point me to some missing scripting/FNIS related files I'm overlooking or something.
Guest Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Try to ping @komotor he did a lot of stuff with it.

No effect. Kinda annoying since the feet in my new animation look horrible right now with that FootIk thingie.

RohZima Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 I have never had an issue with the footIK thing that I have noticed, always wondered what the deal is
MadMansGun Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 37 minutes ago, RohZima said: I have never had an issue with the footIK thing that I have noticed, always wondered what the deal is footIK is used to auto level the feet to the ground (eg: standing on a hill or a rock) and in some sexlab animations that is a problem because it can offset the leg positioning from where you want it to be, -AVbHumanoidFootIKDisable can be used to Disable this leveling system so that the legs stay exactly where you want them.
legraf Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 There's nothing elegant about it perhaps, but there's this: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/8234-footik-off-for-sexlabutil1/ You may also ask @Hawk9969, the author of that, for insight. Though obviously, adding another .esp (plus sexlabutil1 if you aren't using that) may not be desirable. It seems to work for me, but I'm hardly the expert in this thread of luminaries.
