CTD on loading saves that previously loaded just fine

For about two weeks now, I've been racking my brains trying to figure out what is going on. I build what appears to be a fairly stable game. I slowly add a few mods at a time, testing them out. And then, seemingly out of nowhere, my game will immediately CTD whenever I try to load a save. So I start disabling some of the mods that I had just enabled, but it still keeps happening. I'll restore backups of earlier modlists/load orders that had worked just fine an hour before on saves using that configuration. And it still crashes. I'll try to revert to an even earlier configuration. Same thing. I try loading a pure vanilla save that I use to begin games in Gerdur's house right after the end of Unbound. Same thing. I even did a clean reinstall of Skyrim and CK yesterday. It was working great today... until it wasn't. And now I'm back where I started, trying to load saves that had loaded just fine with identical setups not an hour before.

I've been trying to figure out what the hell could be going on to no avail. Could it be MO2? Could it be a plugin? Could it be Windows? Could something be corrupting my installation? I have no freaking clue anymore. Why would my game start spontaneously crashing on attempts to load on saves that worked using a build that worked? And then do the same thing for an even simpler build?

Check for trackers they are a real pain!. They are known to cause CTD's freezes.

Update drivers I was getting CTD's due to a bad install. Just had a CTD a few minutes ago. Thought I had fixed problem. think Nvidia having driver fault as it been happening since I updated my drivers.

Try using Vortex see if that works better.

Had corrupted Adobe file did not help. Did not know till Avg found it.

Sometimes it is windows that at fault.

The biggest culprit is a trackers.

From you description I believe you're problem is fairly straightforward. Whenever you change your load order you must run LOOT and FNIS (and correct all errors n both) and START A NEW GAME. When you make changes in an ongoing playthrough you will introduce problems that will lead to CTD. I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear but it doesn't make it any less true. You can try doing things to clean saves (like ReSaver from Fallrim Tools on Nexus) but these usually just postpone when the CTD will happen. It's good if you have one quest you just HAVE to finish but not enough to save it for a further long playthrough.
