blueballbob Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Got a random issue where my Characters face seems to load dark after she dies and the save gets loaded again. When I load the first time after game startup it seems fine. Only appears when she dies and the last save loads. Ideas?

Sometimes on death and reload, sometimes just loading a saved game. For me, it seems related to lots of face customization mods (make-up, brows, etc.) I've noticed, when this happens the brows. lashes, and facial features don't load either. It also happens to companions I have customized through mods as well. What solves it for me, is quick loading up LooksMenu and applying my preset back to the character. It will eventually happen again, but this for me, is intermittent and doesn't happen in every play session.

Also I had it happen once or twice and found a couple times it just went away on its own as I was playing. like after I fast travelled a couple different times and decided to look at my character and it was normal again. Of course I play in first person most of the time so I kinda didn't really care.
D_ManXX2 Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 could also be vram issue. i had this bug even with fasttravel where i had a bigger builded settlement and me and companions all got brown faces when fasttraveling. it is vanilla bug that bugthesda never fixed.
