Analysing Skyrim Crashes?

This does sound like you have not activated it yourself.

 

Note that you shouldn't need to use it with Crashfixes Mod.....Not a fan of that one myself, I use the SKSE fix.

 

Also you can use ENB and SKSE together so that's not an issue....

You could use ENB Boost and SKSE together............ENB BOOST is the non-graphical fixes from the ENB suite its supposed to help prevent some issues.

 

SKSE is the major fix, it fixes the memory issues that have been left in the game, without the fix the game modded is doomed to crash.

 

I did check this file out and my SKSE.ini file was set exactly like this since even before the crashes.

 

 

To fix my crashes, all I did was install

 

1. SKSE Plugin Preloader

2. Crash fixes

3. Open 'CrashFixPlugin.ini' and set 'UseOSAllocators=1'.

4. Open 'enblocal.ini' and set 'ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false'.

 

I had put in ENBoost but removed it at some point during debugging.

 

Now I have no RAM related crashes.

I forced my Skyrim to crash by forcing 'TESV.exe' reach more than 3 GB of RAM. That's quite a lot and probably won't reach that upper limit unless I am running thousands of mods.

You sure it's the crash fixes?

Cause if I disable HDT-SMP, the HDT-PE hair starts functioning like normal.

 

But if I use some different version of HDT-SMP, it breaks functionality of some HDT-SMP objects but then HDT-PE hairs work fine.

The issue with Crash Fixes is that there are a lot of things that you have to open up crashfixes and allow for to cause the game to not bug out....At least when I was trying it out.

 

You would not believe how many people were saying that my Bodyslide morphs were the issue, thoasands of reports but I wasn't the only one making bodyslides getting reports.

Turned out that morphs are not friendly with Crashfixes unless you flip some numbers in Crashfixes ini file..........Well that's a hassle so I stopped using it and so at this point I cant really address much in regards to crashfixes and am not willing to look into it again.

As far as KS HDT Hair bugging out.....

 

Well you have HDT installed, do you have this file installed from KS HDT Hair?

Its in the MISC files, a lot of people that report issue with the bounce of hair and/or body often don't also download and install this file to correct the issue until someone says hey did you download and install this too from the mod.

Yes, I have both those mods enabled, the BBP fix as well.

 

SMP doesn't work with PE and i't something to do with SKSE's memory management I guess, I am no expert sadly.

Im not entirely certain just how much SMP is available just yet.

HDT seems more common, its basically whats on offer now and easy to find stuff for.

 

If its an SMP issue I probably cant help you out with that as I just use HDT right now.

No big deal.

As only HDT hairs are broken. Nothing else HDT related is broken.

And I am using SMP hairs on myself and my followers anyways, so, makes no difference.

Just to clarify - I meant the HDT hair and clothes etc. Not the HDT bounce n jiggle, BBP side of things.

How long ago was that? I can't recall having to jump through any loops with Crash Fixes. There again I don't do anything with BS&OS apart from build the armours to my body.

I can not understand some things in this post.

 

As i know, Crash Fixes is the only mod for solve the String Table Bug. If you not install Crash Fixes your game can exced the maximun of 65535 elements in the String Table and you can get CTD when try load any save. The CTD not happend while playing. ONLY when try load a save with the String Table Bug. And the ONLY solution is install Crash Fixes BEFORE the game get the 65535 elements.

 

For other side, Crash Fixes have an OLD problem with the sliders in character creation but has been solved years ago with the option AlignHeapAllocate. I not know any other problem related to Morphs and Crash Fixes.

 

The only problem that i know with Crash Fixes are related to some HDT problems in some elements and some hairs when enable UseOSAllocators.

 

For other side, the OP say are ussing SMP (Skined Mesh Physics) in LE and i not see any mod that use SMP in the mod list. Maybe are ussing SMP for the body and want use PE for the hair.

As i said, mix two physics systems is not imposible but may require a specific configuration. Probably must made manual changes to the xml files and maybe can need edit the physics parámeters of the mesh in nifscope. Or search in the forum specific modified mesh and config files.
