After watching this video Ultimate Mod Codex for Skyrim v4 - by Zaric Zhakaron, I wanted to play Skyrim with a similar modlist (I don't have every single mod he mentions, but most of them. And I added some more mods, but that's all in the following modlist.txt). One of the mods ist Requiem where you need to do this whole Java-thing to optimize it for the load order (or something like that). Because of this, I don't know which mods can be removed to test Skyrim without it. But maybe someone here knows where the problem is, else I have some work to do :D. Many thanks in advance for your help. Edit: I forgot to mention, that it crashes just before the main menu is loaded. The background appears, but it crashes before the text shows up.

The background appears, but it crashes before the text shows up. 1) Can you be more specific than "Skyrim has some problems with my mods." Do you CTD? Do you have infinite loading screens? Are you running at 10 fps? There are a lot of possible problems. 2) Do you have the basic stability tools? SKSE Memory Patch Crash Fixes 12 Enb in Boost mode BethIni All of which can be found on Nexus. 3) Have you run LOOT and FNIS? If you don't know what LOOT (Load Order Optimisation Tool) is you can find it with a simple Google search or you can go to my blog (the link is in my signature below) and take the link provided there. In either case the tool is simple and intuitive. You can also (for my money) get the best load order from it. I know you are cognizant of FNIS since it is in your load order.

And yes, I used LOOT to sort the plugin list and used FNIS to get the right animations.
