Fixed finally !!

 

Was an order issue, all vanilla horse are now fixed, extra horse without any tools but doesnt matter. Thx again for the help.

I'm sorry, I know I am slow but I'm confused. If I want to use these mods to endow all horses in the game for Slofs AND vanilla horses then is this the proper installation order:

 

D/l, unzip and install content of HorseDick to data folder.

D/l, unzip and install fixed version of LoversCreature_SexualOrgans (this gives sexual organs to many creatures, and the new dick to vanilla horses).

 

Then Download and install Slof's Horses base pack & Extra Horses from Slof's Hive,and then download and install "Slof's horses pack whit dicks" to overwrite the original mods with the modified .esps?

 

And last, since I want all horses to be formidable I plan to use both, so I have to make sure to load loverscreature_sexualorgans is above Slof's Horses, in the load order?

 

I thought that was correct but got more confused when I read,

 

HorseDick.7z and LoversCreature_SexualOrgans_FIX.7z can both be extracted and dumped into your Data folder, but only activate the .esp files if you're using the vanilla horses. Deactivate them if you're using Slof's Horses, and use the ones from the misspelled Slof's Horses pack whit Dicks.7z instead.

 

In other words, if you plan on using Slof's Horses and want to give them wangs, go download the mods from Slof's Hive first, then replace the .esp files with the ones from Slof's Horses pack whit Dicks.7z. Otherwise, if you just want to give cocks to the vanilla horses, you should only need the meshes and textures from HorseDick.7z and the .esp from LoversCreature_SexualOrgans_FIX.7z.

if you are using the lovers mods you will need lovers sexual organs mod first... personally i use the AIO that prophour is still working on and that has all the animal 'male' organs/penis-balls.

You got it right, this is the correct procedure, don't get confused from what other ppl say.

I don't know what version of LoversCreature_SexualOrgans.esp there is in the AIO, i don't use it, but i guess it is the original version whit ugly dicks for horses (i could be wrong).

 

I am using both Slof's horses and LoversCreature_SexualOrgans (an improved version that i've made) and ALL the horses in my game have the new dick, even the unicorn.

 

The unicorn is modified by LoversCreature_SexualOrgans.esp and by Slof's Horses Base.esp, if you are using one or both of this .esp's and the unicorn doesn't have the dick, this means another mod lower in your load order is owerwriting it.

No, I tried using Wrye Bash in the past and didn't understand it. I'm not sure if I've tried TES4Edit or not, but I don't know nearly enough about modding to start manually editing files--if that is what it does, I mean. It's just rather frustrating because it seems like a fairly simple fix that I can't manage.

both of those are excellent for keeping track of mods as well as load order etc.

 

wrye bash is actually really easy to use, you just have to get used to using it

TES4Edit all you have to do is open it... by default it will show errors for oblivion mod load issues(can be used for other beth games as well).

 

you can also use wrye bash to help with some mod issues... the built in mod checker is very usefull, the button for it is at the bottom of the WB and the icon looks like a check list and pencil. will tell you what files you might be missing and mod load order that needs to be fixed (it doesnt give specifics for that so you need TES4Edit for that), you can also customize the report it gives from the mod checker as well to get more use out of it.

 

if you are missing skeleton files you can always download the lovers archive and use those creature mods, or lovers with pk aio mod.

I don't see how TES4Edit is showing me conflicts. I see a lot of information with literally no context to tell me what means what. I have the skeleton provided at the beginning of the thread, which is apparently what I am supposed to have, but the penis of every horse in Oblivion is stretching out to the great beyond.

To provide a slight update: Wrye Bash refuses to install: it seems to stall when trying to access the ArchiveInvalidation file, and can go no further.

you dont need archive invalidation mod file... if you are planning on using the AI mod, then you should install it manually or something. you really dont need it with wrye bash or if you still think you might need it use the archive invalidate attached to the OBMM.

 

TES4Edit will show fatal errors in regards to load order for masters and any mods that need to be loaded after etc. you have to wait till it finishes running if there are any major fatal errors with load ordering it will tell you at the end of processing what needs to be changed, it will also show warnings with specific mods that might cause issues... you have to look through the data for the warnings though.

well, since i installed this (together with loverscreatures) all horses (which arent mares) have a dick, but all other animals are missing their bodies - i only see floating heads, but their bodies are invisible (i can still kill them by attacking that invisible part).

i hope its not a loadorder thing or my own stupid fault...

not to be an ass, but both of those are valid points when troubleshooting mods... everyone has those days of stupidity (some more than others, but that doesnt really apply here) and load order can be a major factor.

 

thats why its nice to use wrye bash, because if you click on the mod in question in the mod list you can see the expected load order for its master mod files.

i know i had wrye bash installed, but most of the time i use OBMM.

well, i reinstalled all those packages for slofs horses etc. and now it worked half-way, as some animal's bodies appeared again, but soem were still missing. some rats were missing their bodies, while others appeared whole. so its not directly linked to some animals, but a general issue.

you need to use wrye bash and TES4Edit, both will help you sort your load order so that there are no conflicts...

most of the lovers mods dont show up in boss, the only ones that i do know about are the ESM's.

well, i found my fault: the loverscreatures.esp and loverspk.esp had the same date and were to be loaded at the same point in loadorder - which is impossible.

got everything sorted out.

you have to install lovers creatures first, then follow the steps on the first post here.

be careful to install everything in the right order, because some contents from one mod will be overwritten by the next.

When I overwrite slof's esps with yours the horses disappear but I can still mount them and hit them

the loadorder is absolutely important with all of those mods.

i had some issues at first, but i installed the required mods in the correct order and changed my loadorder and suddenly it worked.
