Iv never heard of any of those either. And tbh so far nexus mod manager has been working really well so far

Zathuul Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 I found the issue in Devious Devices menu, this setting was the problem the whole time. Not being able to equip hoods but played the equip sound, although when set to something else... it lets me equipped hoods. Any suggestion on what to set it to? I'm testing that at the moment but, I want to be careful when setting this to something else.

The point is that this is technical support not DD or any other mod support. And it is considered bad form to hijack someone else's thread with your problem. Especially when your problem has fuck all to in common with the OP.
Missynissy Posted February 11, 2019 Author Posted February 11, 2019 So I ended up losing all hope and reinstalled skyrim, it didnt seem to work and still crashes when i try to load a save. BUT it only crashes when i load a save that has registereed all of the MCM's for the mods i have that have them. I can load a save any time before it fully does that though. edit: this may be important, but i have only tested this in the alternate start room with the statue of mara, but i assume it would happen even out of that

Not as of yet, i wanted to try uninstalled mods and reinstalling the game first, im doing those now, using the TES5Edit to clean the Update.esm Edit: i went and did the step to clean the Update.esm file with TES5Edit, and that didnt work. going to try the others now So i read the STEP guide, installed ENBoost, Crash Fixes, and SKSE Plugin Preloader. im going to go ahead and try it now Did not work, still crashed

Leaping about like a demented gnat will not work. Even I could not of cleaned the files, read the S.T,E,P, guide, installed ENBoost, Crash Fixes and SKSE Plugin Preloader in less than an hour.

I set mine to slot 60, (Got help with which slot set) and it's doing pretty well with that. Anyway I had to remove a few things and I got it solved by down sizing my mods a bit. I'm pretty sure it was just one of the sexlab mods conflicting with one or two, but I don't know which one it actually was.
