[Vortex] HDT conflicts with BBT

So, I am new to modding, absolute newb. I have to admit that I overestimated the potential Skyrim modding has, but also how complex it is.

So, I am a simple man, I want tiddies, jigglin' tiddies. But now I get this:

What should overwrite what? I tried each way, both dont work...

First off post your plug-in list here. People like me don't go to sites they have never heard of and even if we have heard of them we don't necessarily want cookies from a site we don't use.

Use the 3 vertical dots in the top rght corner of LOOT to produce a plug-in list.

Come here and type [ spoiler ] without the spaces. Hit Return

Paste the plug-in list text (not the file) here and hit Return

Type [ /spoiler ] without the spaces but with the forward slash

(You can also use the eye icon on the bar above, just to the righ of the emoji icon).

 

Images have to be jpg and can be dragged to the paperclip in the bottom left here. The spoiler business works with them too.

Welcome to LoversLab! (Normally this is a response on the "say hi" thread in the Community section, but hey, I'm flexible).

 

So, most of the people who answer questions here on LoversLab (myself included) expect that any information you have for us will be posted here on LL. I mean no offense, this is basic computer security stuff. I am reluctant to open files of unknown provenance and even more reluctant to open files on third party sites - no matter how secure you feel they may be. So let me give you some hints in that regard.

 

First, if you are not familiar with LOOT (the load order optismisation tool) you need to get it. You can find it with a Google search or you can go to my blog (the link to that is in my signature below) and click on the link there. You should find LOOT intuitive. Once you've run it you will find, in the upper right hand corner on the blue bar, an icon that looks like three vertical dots or buttons. Click on it and choose "copy load order to clipboard." You can then paste it here, preferably in a spoiler.

 

Second, using a spoiler. When you type a post on LL there is a bar that runs across the top of the area which starts with "Size" and "Font". About midway across there is an icon that looks like an eye (it is just to the right of the smiley-face emoji icon). Click on that and you will open a spoiler, like this:

Then, if the cursor is not already there use your mouse to move it there and paste the information from LOOT inside the spoiler. If you're curious I can explain WHY you should do that later.

 

Third, when you try to load screenshots onto LL you will have a problem because LL does not like .bmp files, which is what screenshots are. So, load your screenshot into Paint (or similar program) and "save as" a .jpg file. Then "drag" that .jpg file onto the "paperclip" that shows up BELOW the are in which you are typing. After a few seconds you will see a miniature of your screenshot appear in that general area. When you have the cursor in the place in your text box or spoiler where you want the picture to appear simply hit the "+" on top of the miniature. It will again take a few seconds but it will appear in the box. If you have more than one picture or video to share please place them in a spoiler (or more than one). The same applies to a "wall of text" such as a load order - which I have already discussed.

And while stalking this thread I also noticed the mistake I made while installing the mods for HDT to work. So "all" is working now.
