LesboIsBesto Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 To anyone who uses Personalized Music, need some help with the 6.0 version that includes vanilla music. I need to know how the mod keeps the vanilla music in my game when I add music from Witcher 3 & Nier: Automata? The author says the vanilla music is still there in this version but there aren't any music files present in the mod & the naming structure is completely different from the vanilla music & there isn't something like its own exe that lets you choose what tracks you want which is what I assumed a mod like this would have something similar to BodySlide or FNIS. If I add my other music to its folders, how do I know it's not overwriting the vanilla music? How many can I add before it overwrites them if at all (I know it has text files saying each folders limit but is that a limit to how many tracks in general or how many before vanilla music gets overwritten & does that number even include vanilla music?) What if I want only certain vanilla music overwritten? (spoiler: I DO want some vanilla music overwritten, that's how I had my music folder set up before Steam fucked my Skyrim up, but I don't want all vanilla music gone, just some). TLDR: I wanna add my own music to Skyrim but I want to overwrite some of the vanilla music, not all of it & doing it the manual way like I did before is difficult as hell. Who uses this mod & knows how it works? Or better yet, who knows a better music mod than this that can do what I want?
Neko-Barbare Posted January 5, 2019 Posted January 5, 2019 I think the vanilla music are in the "normal" folder from the default game. It's not necessary to add them again in the mod folder. I think the limit is just the border between loading game and play and loading game and CTD (or the limit of your storage disk ofc).
