Getting CTDs semi-randomly, usually during heavy action and certain kidnapped/sexlab events

So I was wondering if you guys could give me a hand with my load order. Do I have any glaring conflicts that I'm just too stupid to recognize?  Am I missing something? I use LOOT to sort btw.

not sure what exactly causes you random CTD,

but that's what I see in your load order that isn't right:

 

> 21 15     ZazResources.esp

is not needed if you use ZAZ 7, 8, 8+

might even conflict

 

> 20 14     SkyrimConfigMenu.esp

is realy old, does the MCM work on you game?

 

> maybe I'm blind but I can't see any Racemenu.esp in your load order and you installed SOSRaceMenu.esp

I add to what donttouchmethere has said that you are using SLKidnapped_Redux without using SLKidnapped (Or i just missed it). And I think that you can have problems with OSA cause it needs a lot of ressources from your computer.

So if I have "ZazAnimationPackV7.0" I don't need ZazResources at all?

 

Also, yea Skyrim Config Menu actually works on my game so that's good.

 

Finally, I'm not sure where SOSRaceMenu came from because it's not even in my mod manager.

Huh I thought that SLKidnapped_Redux was standalone. Do I need the original? It seems to work fine. The game is mostly stable I just get some random annoying CTDs that tend to be when there are a lot of animations or actors participating in something from Kidnapped or SexLab etc.

correct

(zaz resources is an old version of zaz (on Nexus), I don't think its a good idea to run both because you might overwrite the newer ZAZ from LL. Maybe some Mods on Nexus still use it, but ZAZ 7 and higher is the way to go for LL mods)

its from XPMSE, it asks you during  installation if you want race menu support for SOS

 

now I see you don't even have SOS installed

how do you generate dicks during sex?

all strapon action?^^

(always SOS user here so don't blame me too hard if there are alternatives)

are you sure about that?

It's a while ago that I used SLkidnapped and I remember I only used the newest version.

there something else you could check why you get CTD

 

SL tries to modify participants of a SL scene to be same body hight

with heels and different body highs its a lot of work for SL

you can try and deactivate "remove heels" and keep activated: "sexlab fix"

need to check my own game what I have activated and make a MCM pic

Lol I've been using Better Males off of Nexus cause it's just what I always did before I got into some of more in depth mods. Should I get SOS?

if your males have a dick during sex all is fine I guess?^^

 

SOS will react to arousal status and has some nice addons like different dicks for kajiit and argonians

in additon it randomizes dick sizes

 

(and if thats not enough already: it comes with a MCM save function! yehaaa!)

 

not sure what happens if you have SOS and better males in one load order, maybe you get two dicks or a testosterone overdose =D

 

and you can change "alignment" of your dick during SL animations, is that possible with better males too?

(I realy don't get out of LL often to see the world xD)

Alright I'll give it a shot, just gotta back some stuff up to make everything is alright. I'll also see what I can do about ZazResources but I've played my whole run with it installed so I might have to leave it on if I crash on loading my save or something.

I think it will only be critical in situations where ZAZ is involved and shouldn't create CTD during SLscenes (unless its a SLscene with ZAZ involved). I would remove it if you start a new game and don't won't to carry over possible instabilities.

 

maybe reducing some functions of SL or choose the right ones might help already?

I'm just not sure how XPMSE/SL reacts if you have SOS support installed without SOS in your load order

reinstalling XPMSE and choose the right options might help there

SOS is more advanced ... but first we need to sort out all the other stuff.

When that is fixed - I recommend you go and get SOS.

 

For now, you can simply deactivate that XPMSE/SOS addon.
