Can anyone guide me on where I should start as I am completely new to using  mods ?  I  have skyrim SE and would like to use some of the adult mods but I am a little confused about  what I need to download and how to install them .

Completely completely new? First off, find a tutorial about how to mod Skyrim. It's not difficult, there's just a lot to cover, and people have already explained how. Here's one guide, but pay attention to what parts are for Classic and what's for SSE.

 

When you're done getting that set up, there's a lot of mods to download. Not even related to SexLab. Stability mods, improvement mods, bug fix mods... One tip is to go through Nexus's list of SSE mods, sorted by downloads or endorsements, and check out all the mods in the first 5 or so pages.

 

Before you bother with any mods from this site, try playing the game for 10-30 minutes to make sure it's working.

 

The basic SexLab setup for SSE is:

* Nude body mods, one for males (eg, SoS) and one for females (eg, CBBE, SeveNBase, UNP)

* Body physics for females, with CBPC being easier to setup than HDT-SMP

* SexLab

* SexLab Aroused Redux (SLA/SLAR)

* SexLab MatchMaker (primarily for testing)

* SexLab Animation Loader (SLAL) and animation packs (there are many to choose from)

 

For creatures,

* Creature Framework

* More Nasty Critters

 

Then whatever other mods you want - because what's up there doesn't actually make use of SexLab (except MatchMaker) but is about providing features and support for other mods (aka frameworks). Here is a long-ass list that is mostly about what Skyrim LE mods are usable on Skyrim SE but is also a decent index covering maybe 75% of the most popular mods on this site.
