* * UUNP BodySlide Mesh Update * *

I thought that the bikini mesh could have been done better, so I revisited this mod, updated the BodySlide files and changed the shininess of the steel parts. I believe the results are much better.  The update is only BodySlide files, so while you can use a mod manager, perhaps just extract the files and move them over manually. NOTE that the main file DOES NOT include this update, so if you're a "new" user, you'll need the update as well.  And and always...

 

 

DON'T FORGET TO MAKE YOUR ARMOR USING BODYSLIDE

Hello Folks!   The lovely Jade is introducing Steel Micro-Armor for your enjoyment. Not much to say here as there are no fancy weapons, spells or any other crap. I made up this "quick & dirty" little outfit as a "new game starter" vs. using vanilla (yuck), Nisetanaka's epic Bikini Armor parts or some other high-powered outfit.  Just a cuirass (if you want to call it that), boots and some leggings.  Parts are in made up in leather and steel or just steel. Naturally the "steel only" armor has a slightly higher rating. Shown in the screenshots are Nisetanaka's Nordic Plate gauntlets and pauldrons from his Bikini Armor mod, as well as a vanilla steel sword and shield, but are not included in this package.

 

The screenshots tell it all. Again, not much here and I didn't spend a lot of time fooling around with the BodySlide files, etc., so you may need to tweak things a little bit in Outfit Studio, maybe not.  Use the AddItemMenu mod to get the armor and weapon right away or you can make them at a forge, then work your way to the Steel Smithing perk - which shouldn't take long - so you can temper the armor and weapons.

 

 

INSTALLATION & BODYSLIDE:

 

Simply install my mod using your favorite mod manager. Once doing so, start up BodySlide and select "C5Kev's Steel Micro-Armor UUNP (or CBBE)" from the "Group Filter" drop-down. Check the "Build Morphs" box and click "Batch Build" to make your armor parts. That's about it.

 

For Doing Conversions -

 

Directory = C5Kev\Micro-Armor

Outfit Studio "Output File Names" should be named the following:

 

Leather / Steel Cuirass = Armor_1.nif

Steel / Steel Cuirass = Armor2_1.nif

Leather / Steel Leggings = Leggings_1.nif

Steel / Steel Leggings = Leggings2_1.nif

Boots = Boots_1.nif

 

 

- I believe the cuirass bikini was made by Goma, but I'm not sure and don't know how to contact him (her). Suffice it to say that Goma made it, not me and gets any and all kudos for it. The boots are a variation of the Lady Keira boots made by the incredibly talented Krista, her work is outstanding.

@ Kev.  you got a preset or follower of the elf you using in pretty much all your mods i see? Ive tried making mine similar but came out looking like bridget neilsen on crack.

Hey, it's alive!  How are you Marm?  Well, I trust.  Yeah, I had Rudy with NLVA, but changed to NLA / True Storms  and much happier with that.  Think I need to redo the dress we worked on last as I saw in on SKY tm  and it looked "washed out" and I know why (alpha). Looked like chocolate instead of black and disappointing to me. At the time, It looked OK on my rig, but...  I'm surprised they even posted it. Actually, the feature 6 of my outfits which took me by surprise. They did have the Gatti Bondage outfit up, but it's gone now.

 

Was over at your site recently...good stuff. I really admire your work.

Hey Mod.  No sorry, I don't.  Bridget Nielson on crack probably looked OK when she was young, but the "Rich & Famous" don't always age too well...  ?

Hey andakin.  I use Leyenda Skin 4.0 and a normal map, both of which are modified by me.
