fred200 Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 The Sims 4 End of the World is next Tuesday, 13 November. That is when the new Sims 4 base is released, and every current Sims 4 script mod stops working. Point of this post is to ask a question: are there any guidelines on how to convert existing mods based on Python 3.3 to the Python 3.7 base? I already have my tools upgraded, including 3.7 versions of the EA libraries. Now I have all these TS4Script files to deal with. When you unzip them, you have all the .pyo object files in Python 3.3 format. They need to be decompiled by a 3.3 decompiler, then recompiled against the new libraries with Python 3.7. I am hoping someone gets the urge to make a YouTube video...
beastbybay Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Most modders have already prepared for it. Maxis let them know well in advance

R-Lo Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 For me I find it a dick move on EA's part to roll this out on the 13th of the month!
