Tiruil Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 Well this might be the only place to ask this question. Before a major screwup occured 3 hours ago on my old laptop I had a perfectly working issue free mod order and the like, But on my NEW laptop the following issue has been happening endlessly and its getting annoying very quickly Namely, female bow drawing animations put the arrow nock IN HER ELBOW, and the arrowhead about to shoot the bow itself! This did not happen whatsoever on my old laptop. I dont know where to go or how to fix this issue. I have the latest version of XPMSE as well and it STILL happens and wont fix, {Yes, I ran FNIS< yes I check game file integrity, did all that. no issues there} In the picture note the location of the arrowhead. this is NOT supposed to occur, is there a fix, if so where can I find it ?
donttouchmethere Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 did you carry over a race menu preset (some settings get carry over you might not aware of, or the other way around), but/or changed bodytypes? maybe its the arm length you might find more useful information here: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/110229-arrows-are-way-off-my-crosshair-need-help/?tab=comments#comment-2416466
Tiruil Posted November 8, 2018 Author Posted November 8, 2018 I dont use presets quite honestly, Only things I really do in racemenu concern sliders for body size {hieght defaulted at 1 and I up that to 1.3 to make the character taller like myself} Should i entirely reinstall Racemenu then ? From what i understand its bethesda not bothering to fix a common issue with the female skeleton aiming a bow
donttouchmethere Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 I never had that issue myself, yet normaly I only reduce the bodysize of my PC Not sure if reinstalling Race menu would help, because you just changed the body size, so nothing you cant revert back Is that issue with all bows or only the one on your picture? would changing bow size help? with XPMSE you should have the Race menu options to do so as you can read, I am as clueless as you ?
Tiruil Posted November 9, 2018 Author Posted November 9, 2018 All bows, all arrows, everything BUT Bound Bow and Bound Arrows is affected by this issue. I;'ve tried rescaling the character weapons down,m but it only makes the ARROWS smaller, that thrtead suggested only helped somewhat though. scaling the main hand weapons {IE the arrow} moves the arrow BACKWARDS on the arrow rest to rest on the characters arm imnstead of the arrow rest where it is supposed to. SCaling the offhand or shield weapon down or up only increases the size of the overall bow and arrow itself. Any animation packjage I find doesnt help whatsoever as its with holding and drawing the arrow that it glitches on EDIT TO ADD: ied to replicate this issue on a male character yet. Since I as a female myself, normally playfemale characters, its not really that easy for me to get into the guise of a male character unless I am writing them in a story project or two. As far as I am aware, its a female bow use animation glitch
Psalam Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 Maybe it's just the single picture that you posted but it looks to me like it's the bow that is in the wrong place. Perhaps side-by-side images of your character with a mundane bow (where you say there is a problem) and with a bound bow (where you say there is not) might cast a little more light on the issue(s).
Tiruil Posted November 10, 2018 Author Posted November 10, 2018 Bow is in the correct place, its a custom bow from Compound Bows collection, but its not just that bow or the bows in the collection that are affected, its every bow BUT the bound bow and bound arrows, Everything else doesnt nock correctly in the string when she draws back her arm to fire. I dont have a second shot anymore showing the arrow placement abouyt to shoot the bow itself {in all logic that would indeed happen if the nock is in her elbow and not in her hand on thje bowastring as it should be} The arrow is even the correct length too But sadly this only happens in third person view. in first person view it looks just fine with no issue on aiming or the like. Another note is that the dress is also custom colored by me I am not sure if it is an arm issue as her arms werent messed with in RaceMenu whatsever. The only stuff in Racemenu that I dork around with is height and bust. I tend to make my characters look as much like me as I can. Aside from hair cfolor as I am naturally platnium blonde/white haired myself For now I have chosen to give up on it, it doesnt harm my save fileany and there isnt any issues in my papyrus log either... at least as far as I can tell {Yes I DO have USLEEP installed}
