Be careful when you go to the SLAL version. It is not difficult but it is particular. If you don't normally read the instructions, change for just this one mod. That change is likely to make the difference.
Gameplayer Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 It is well known that the game will crash to desktop when playing the normal start with mods. It is very well documented that it will of course crash with certain types of mods in the game such as HDT bounce and jiggly type mods. Often it is suggested that a player should skip the normal game start either with an unmodded save game or using Alternate Start mod. Specifically cause the game is prone to crashing there due to mods being installed. Now in your case as far as the game crashing periodically well that's not easy to address cause its related to several different issues. 1) Your hardware may not be ideal, doesn't have to be the best modern hardware in fact it may be best to have the best hardware from around the time the game was released. Including Windows 7 rather than 10 as the operating system, Im not saying it wont work with 10 its just better off on 7. 2) Have you even made sure that your game will run stable under combat conditions in the outside world space at 60 FPS? Scripts are unfortunately tied to the FPS of the game....Stability here is important. So right off the top of my head is having a look at your graphics mods and making sure you didn't go overboard there. 3) Script Mods, of which you have plenty... Something to understand about these is that the scripts don't all fire off whenever they want too....They actually have to stand in line for their turn...Imagine being at the DMV to pay for a parking ticket...Now sure there is a girl at the booth but there are 50 other people ahead of you in line. You can make that line process faster a number of ways... 3a) You can make sure your game runs at the optimal 60 FPS. 3b) You can make sure that there are fewer scripted mods standing in that line. My suggestion, is that you narrow down your game play focus when it comes to mods....removing stuff that isn't strictly needed so that you have at the core just what you want.

Gameplayer Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 Here Im going to tell you some things you darn did to yourself..... daymoyl.esm=1 This mod is something I long ago cut from my Load Order, its not that it wont work its just extra script overhead I don't need to worry about since its not in my game and I believe its significant enough that I just wont run with it anymore in my game. hdtHighHeel.esm=1 Been replaced by NIO-Override Heels, look for high heeled shoes that have NIO-OVERRIDE listed, don't ever use HDThighheel.esm, not worth it as it needs to constantly height correct actors with a constant script. ClimatesOfTamriel.esm=1 This mod is something I long ago cut from my Load Order, its not that it wont work its just extra script overhead I don't need to worry about since its not in my game and I believe its significant enough that I just wont run with it anymore in my game. Also not to mention the extra graphics overhead.... ENB is mostly a better option than messing around with finding a mod that answers weather or lighting situations for interior exterior locations. No.....So do I want sex animations to run better or do I want to ride horses in Skyrim......I think its easy to identify that answer....I could also approach this differently lets say I wanted a complicated combat system overhaul....Do I want better combat or do I want to ride horses? Starting to get the idea of why its sort of pointless to have in the Load Order now? Immersive Patrols II.esp=1 This mod is just way over reported as causing issues....So why even bother, there are enough patrols in default game anyway. ImmersiveSpells.esp=1 Oh great now I can never sneak with an enchanted weapon or spell equipped....Also it will cause issues with torches....Just cut this out of your LO DD_restrained.esp=1 Not even sure if this works with DDI presently Open Cities Skyrim.esp=1 Just don't do this to yourself, seriously its already in direct conflict with some of the mods you installed for Devious Devices...On top of that your going to deal with FPS issues and more mod compatibility issues...So why bother.
Gameplayer Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 Basically you didn't fully read through every single mod description for the mods in your load order. Now on top of that since you don't have the experience I do you didn't understand through no fault of your own that a lot of your mod picks were basically trying to do the same things and/or conflicting with each other. You were also putting some very big mods in and expecting that your game would just handle it but unfortunately Skyrim just cant....Even SkyrimSE and Fallout 4 have limits. My best advice is to just remove all the mods I listed above.....And just use Sexlab and Devious Devices with say Deviously Cursed Loot. For added difficulty and tweaking get yourself SkyTweak mod....Which can also handle your needs for a kill move mod and about 999 other tweaks that are super useful and destroy the need for many thoasands of other mods. For the Graphics and environment, if you have a nice computer and graphics card solution....Your best bet is to hunt down an ENB that will allow night vision effects....This should make the shadows on the character look better and also make your night and interior locations darker....I actually prefer that night and darkness stay vanilla cause I prefer to be able to see and play night time based characters...Thieves/Vampires/Werewolves... If your just getting started modding.... First order of business is to start with a small load order....When you add to your load order you also don't want to add a whole lot either....This way its easier to find problems.

That load order posted by Gameplayer may well work but to me it doesn't do anything except vanilla and BDSM sex. It's got AFT but no followers - well thought out there. The reason I wouldn't use Climates of Tamriel is the 700 esps it needs.

What I wanted to show was a Load Order that had Sex enabled in it. So from there you would try out your other mods...But you want to start from a position of where you have your core mods working. Most Load orders that contain Sexlab, a player wants to have working sex first.

This mod is in direct conflict with open cities SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators.esp=1 This mod is something I long ago cut from my Load Order, its not that it wont work its just extra script overhead I don't need to worry about since its not in my game and I believe its significant enough that I just wont run with it anymore in my game. Starting to get the idea of why its sort of pointless to have in the Load Order now? Run For Your Lives.esp=1 I've never managed to get this to work properly with a heavily modded game and more importantly this is in direct conflict with Immersive Citizens which does it better. Immersive Patrols II.esp=1 This mod is just way over reported as causing issues....So why even bother, there are enough patrols in default game anyway. ImmersiveSpells.esp=1 Oh great now I can never sneak with an enchanted weapon or spell equipped....Also it will cause issues with torches....Just cut this out of your LO DD_restrained.esp=1 Not even sure if this works with DDI presently Open Cities Skyrim.esp=1 Just don't do this to yourself, seriously its already in direct conflict with some of the mods you installed for Devious Devices...On top of that your going to deal with FPS issues and more mod compatibility issues...So why bother. Lots of load orders get posted and lots of comments on those load orders. veryone has their favourite mods and mods they love to hate. I actually agree with most of Gameplayer's above list of mods to avoid though for different reasons with some of them. I regularly use OBIS along side Interesting NPCs and Warzones. Holy Script City, Batman. Most of the SexLab-related mods Gameplay recommended are heavy script users constantly scanning large areas. I use most of them myself. The more time and effort you put in at the beginning the less hassle you will have later.

VioLens.esp=1 There are just better options than this mod....I use Skytweak it has about a thousand options one of them totally makes kill moves happen in real time with no camera flipping...Also I cut out script overhead by simply not having a kill move mod. I did the More nasty critters for SLAL thin, and uninstalled Captured Dreams, Realistic AI detection, DD for males, HDT hig heels and now it's working, thank to everyone who game me useful tips and hope you have a wonderful kinky modded skyrim ❤️
