C5Kev's Hermaeus Mora's Tomes

Hello Folks!   Introducing Tomes (tow-meez), a gift from Hermaeus Mora to his beautiful Dragonborn Priestess - to get around Skyrim doing his bidding. Tomes is a horse, a very special light draft horse who's faithful, brave, loyal and faster than similar horses. No he's not a Shadowmere clone. He is friendly and docile, but don't piss him off or attack him. He will become aggressive, turn black as night and emit a powerful cloak spell that could mean serious consequences to all those around him. Tomes also comes with modified, animated armor to keep him safe (although he's essential).

Tomes can be located near Whiterun. But don't jump on him and ride off into the sunset. No, no, no...  You just might want to look around the area.

MxR did a nice review of Tomes and my armor - well, I think it was a nice review  ?

Check it out - starts at 5:06.

You'll also want this stuff...

C5Kev's Hermaeus Mora Priestess Armor and / or  C5Kev's Hermaeus Mora Priestess Animated Armor

Tomes armor is a modified version of gg77 & tumbajamba's  New Armored Horses  mod.

Hopefully no problems, but please let me know if any arise. Have fun!  And please, don't ask me about SSE or CBBE versions.

DO NOT upload this or any of my other mods onto other sites or utilize my assets without permission please.

Possibly an obvious thing, but would a version or option to find him on Solstheim be possible? Also, would the mod work with Immersive Horses?

Either way, I do plan to use the mod. I have a character it is perfect for, and certainly worth playing a second time - especially with this and your conversion of the Hermaeus Mora Armor.

Hey Kuroyami.   Yeah, I suppose it's possible to find him on Solstheim, but if I'm not mistaken, he'd be stuck there as the horses don't seem to like boat travel.  And I don't think you'd want that, would you?  :)    Re: Immersive Horses - I don't really know, but can't imagine why the two mods would have any bearing on one another. But there's only one way to find out!    Glad you like this and the Herme Mora Armor.

Well, at least with Immersive Horses, if it works with it, it has a power to summon your current horse(more so just moving it close by, likely somewhere behind the player if it is a long distance away). Other than that, the only issue would be the gate leading out of Raven Rock, which there is a mod to fix that problem.

Okay, so it looks like it works, but with a caveat. That being, it doesn't seem to allow him to be a player owned horse. It just considers him temporary, and doesn't allow you to adopt or change his ownership. Not sure what could be changed to make this work, as nothing seems that obvious just comparing IH's edits to the vanilla horses, other than the fact that they don't have the PlayerHorseFaction by default.

Immersive Horses does have a guide to make other mod added horses compatible, which I've just about followed, making edits with TESVEdit. I think I have what is required, so I'll test it out, and see if it works.

I think Immersive Horses should change their mod to include mine.  :)

Were are the file? Have you removed it? When will it come back, a follower of Mora can´t ride a "normal" horse. Tomes is a perfect mount.! (I know you won´t to hear this but please: SSE:D).

Hello AmyRose. Reported them?   Hehehe...   I was having issues with theft, etc., so I took most of them down - moving them over to my Patreon page.

I hope you put them up for free sometime once again. I saw the Priestess Tome on MXR mods, and I thought that they looked quite good.
