I'm also providing some additional information. UPDATED WITH MORE INFO I updated to SexLab Framework Beta 3 and have had issues with animations through SexLab. Everything else in my game appears to work. I've completed quests, engaged in battle, talked with NPCs. But any time a SexLab animation is about to start, the screen goes black. The animation text is visible, the HUD is visible, and some general game audio continues (I'm in a player home with a bard playing music right now, so that audio continues). Then the game freezes. It does not crash to desktop. It does not show any messages. The only way to get out is to restart my computer. I've kept track of everything that needed updated after the recent Skyrim SE update and SKSE64 update, but did I miss something? Here's my load order as exported by NMM. I've run FNIS. I use LOOT. The only new mods I've introduced to the load order in the last month are three armor mods (Vampiric Knight, Katarine Armor, Witch of the Wild). I cleaned and rebuilt the SexLab registry through the MCM. Still freezes. I can use solo animations through the Flower Girls "pleasure self" spell, but no animations through anything that is specifically attached to SexLab. Did you update SexLab SE to match the latest versions of SkyrimSE and KSE64? Edit: Unfortunately NMM does not provide many ways to help diagnose issues. You might want to open the SKSE/Plugins folder and look through the DLLs in there to see if you can figure out which mods they belong to based on the file names. Those older than the recent SKSE update are likely culprits.

Those older than the recent SKSE update are likely culprits. I have Sexlab SE Beta 3, which is the latest update and matches the latest updates of Skyrim SE and SKSE64. In fact, it was after that update that I first started experiencing the problems. Thanks for the task manager tip. I'm able to do everything else in game except use any mechanics related to SexLab.

Vedren01 Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 The only time I ever have my screen fade to black is during an amorous adventure scene and its usually accompanied by a dialogue popup you have to hit ok to. You have Defeat, does the game crash when you are defeated and raped? I know in defeat the screen doesn't fade out the characters just bounce around to position. The fading thing makes me think it is flower girls AA or plain AA related are you you appear to be running Skyrim Special Edition and I can tell by your mod list and the names of the .esps that your flowergirls files are out of date... Check for the new on on nexus they should be named "FlowerGirls SE and VR Main File" and "Amorous Adventures FG SSE" And you may want to pick up (base) Amorous Adventures from here just to be safe. Also there is a toggle in the MCM SL menu to turn off scaling/ctd fix make sure you have that on as the set scale option in SL causes crashes on some pc's.

I'm level 16 in a playthrough and everything has been working fine for me for weeks and now suddenly this is happening. No new mods... no new MCM changes in the game... just... started happening. And now everytime there's a scene (defeat, pheromones, dangerous nights etc) the characters pop into place, then black screen and freeze. 1

Dontfuckincare Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 I also have this issue with defeat, SE beta 8. Screen freezes and the only way to close the game is to sign out of Windows or restart the computer. Any help would be appreciated.

Scenes that don't involve the player are fine but any that do (solo or otherwise) go to a black screen and the game freezes. I tried reverting to a save from an hour earlier and things were initially fine, animations with the player would run as normal, but the problem came back after playing for an hour or so from that point. I've tried re-running FNIS and reset SexLab in the MCM but neither had any impact. I haven't made any changes to my setup in the last few hours of play before this started. anjenthedog Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 (edited) Disable fade to black in every MCM you can find with such a setting. I think SL and Flower girls both have fade checkboxes. In addition, make sure to clean your save, to ensure no stuck scripts are lingering that can contribute to the issue. Edited November 13, 2022 by anjenthedog

blue35e Posted May 26, 2021 Posted May 26, 2021 I noticed the same issue. It appears to only start after I kill the first dragon. Saves from before it work fine but once the dragon dies it happens any time sex with the player starts.
imabigree420 Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 im having the exact same issue (sorry to necro btw) i down loaded all the packs and when i update fnis and nemisis overides and all that happens is my character gets a black screen i even tried to scale back the number of anims but that didnt work either but when i do get fnis to work with nemisis my character t poses
