Same as title. Seems it will only let me select characters to adjust when my character is involved with an animation, but I was wondering if there was a way to select NPC's in an animation where the player character is not involved.

You can use the console if you are using a PC.

  1. stand as close to the npc's as possible and press the "~" key.
  2. with the mouse select one of the characters.
  3. use the command  "getpos x "  this will return " x= (displayed numbers)"  eg: x= -90321
  4. now use the command   setpos x  (Change number)  (eg: setpos x -90311)  then press return
  5. one of the characters will move along the x axis as specified by your command
  6. by using this technique to manipulate the x,y,z,axis, you can move the character into the correct position.
  7. when the characters are aligned, press the "~" key again to exit console edit.

with practice you can get your characters aligned in as little as three moves.

You can take control of animation.
The NPC in the crosshairs and enter N key (with me).
Now a confirmation message from Sexlab will show if you would like to take control of NPC.

The sexlab tools kind of helped MadMansGun thank you, but I was actually trying to get the ability to adjust npc's using the hotkeys within sexlab for alignment or another tool if possible. I was trying to figure out how to get it to work without my character being involved in the animations. You know when you use the keys to move characters up/down, left/right, forward/backward and then it saves it for you so that animation will be aligned in the future as well. Some animation will be aligned when my character is not involved, but not all npc's without my character involved, especially if they are females of a different height from my female character like the ones from Luxury suite which I use for testing. I don't know why this is a problem though because sexlab is supposed to even characters heights. And when I watch it, it does even their heights but sometimes still won't be aligned. Such as shlongs poking through stomachs or poking them in the forehead humans or creatures. Funny but very immersion breaking. As for the N key Andy14, it doesn't do anything like that. It does select them and then I can edit them in strip item editor or Sexlab aroused, but that doesn't let me take over animations that my character is not involved in. It won't let me move actors or adjust shlongs and there is no messages in the upper left corner about it either as if what you saying doen't exist. However the N key does work for those things just fine if my character is in the animations. And dharvinia's method seems like you would have to do that every time you started the game up. Maybe good if making custom videos. Sorry to TLDR it.
