I removed the videos.

If you want to add a new one, you can add it as "image" and then add the image inside the description.

Or, if you have the video as external link, you can add it just as a link and it will be converted to a video in the page.

Hello,

I'm very new to this forum/site but I wanted to post some images on a mod bug thread but I cannot see the option to upload a file as it's shown in this thread. Is it just because I'm not allowed (as I recently joined) or is that I'm doing something wrong?

Thanks for your time in advance.

Select the option, give a title to your thread,
In the part of the text, write the problems you have, as detailed as possible and to add images, select the Spoiler icon, select Choose files and insert the saved images (from the skyrim folder you will find them in BMP in the main folder, modify them in Paint and save in PNG format)

You must have a minimum of 2 posts to upload anything.  It is part of the forum software spam guard.

Posts as in own threads? Or just comments in other threads?

I've been trying to upload my S4 animations but I always get "There was a problem processing the uploaded file. -200 "

That's good to know, but that means the upload error is unrelated.

Are .7z files not allowed to be uploaded?

7z files are allowed (and recommended.)

On the Sim section there is actually an approval process of files. We moderators need to check all the uploaded files before they can be visible to users (but usually it is not related to your problem.)

Keep also in mind that there is a limit to the file size you can upload. Try to stay under 100Mb (but up to 250Mb should be fine.)

May have been a temporary error, try again now and see.

Otherwise, might be something wrong with your archive. Try uploading it as an attachment to your reply here and if that works, myself or one of the moderators can do a test file upload for you.

File size is less than 1 Mb so no problems there.

Just tried it again, still not working.

Attaching it to this post also fails, but I can upload images. Weird.

Clicking on the failed upload inserts it into the post. Maybe it works after all.

Edit: File is marked as not available.

Could it be a VPN issue?

Try to upload the file on DropBox or similar, then send me the link.

I will check if there is any problem.

I'm back, I'm trying to upload 2 gifs for a short tutorial but it keeps failing, tried without VPN, different VPN no dice. Then uploaded them to my dropbox and tried to ise insert other media to load them in, but it wouldn't let me.

The gifs aren't large, 1.5 and 1.3 mb respectively. And I was able to upload 3 other smaller images without issue.

Is there a size/resolution limit for gifs? The ones I'm trying to upload are a bit larger, around 1410x690px.

Having a strange issue here. I want to include some of my machinima videos in my posts so I can share them here on these forums.

I originally had the videos in a post with the videos hosted on YouTube but I don’t want to keep the videos on YouTube. They have explicit content. So I uploaded my videos to PornHub.

When I add the links from PornHub it only shows the link in text form but it doesn't show the actual video. When I had them posted from YouTube, I did the same thing and the videos actually showed in the post so viewers could view the content right in the post and they didn’t have to click another link.

Is there a way to post videos from a site like PornHub and have the video show in the post?

example:

youtube link (I’ve already removed my videos from YouTube but this was the link)

PornHub link:

- This is a different video of mine but you get the issue? Only the link text shows but not the video like it does from YouTube.
