Random CTD

So I have no idea what causes my game to crash randomly. Id be in game for a good 5-10 minutes but randomly if i hit pause or open the map or move to a populated city my game just crashes and i cant figure out whats causing it.

you are running out of VRAM probably. try compressing textures and use ENB.

switch to special edition

Use an ENB as Tron91 suggested because it will increase the amount of memory the game can use, and make sure you have the SKSE memory patch enabled. Also,, Alternate Start should be moved to the end of your load order.

When I see your plugins, you might almost think the CTD is intentional.
How about the Papyrus.log - should be in My Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script\

hmm cant seem to find even though i know for a fact that ive seen it before. I think that might be my issue. aside from you saying that my plugins obviously cause a ctd

ENB should be the first step in modding your Skyrim even though many of us jumped straight into the Sex Lab mods ?

 

This is the SKSE patch with the settings that I use. It is recommended that you google it and learn as much as you can about it to adjust the settings according to your needs.

Thanks for replying, I got great news actually. for whatever reason i did not have the SKSE.ini but i tinkered around a bit and so far my game has yet to crash. Granted I played for about 20 minutes. But thats longer than average. 

So for now my issue is fixed. I will however get and ENB just as a backup if this doesnt fix it.
