Creation Kit Mapping: Object Alignment.

Now matter how small i get in regards to the increments with which the object moves i cant seem to align it. i dont know why bethesda's creation kit was designed with the X and Y Axis aligned to the world rather than the individual object but it has made it nearly impossible to line things up especially pieces that need to be practically perfectly snapped together.

ive looked around a bit and found nothing beyond shrinking the scale of increments but it does little to help.

I've had success with enabling workshop snapping and/or angle snapping settings - aligning the pieces as necessary, then cntrl+click on them to select them all, then disable snapping and move them in to their final place.

Additionally, you can reset rotate with CNTRL+K, then re-align them as above.

for some reason location snap doesnt seem to work...

these small imperfections aren't possible to sort out because the axis they sit on only works in 45 degree diagonal directions.

the problem with having these small imperfections is that the building being composed of several parts requires each to be in a very specific place... im starting to wonder how Bethesda was able to be so accurate with their placement...

In the game itself (not CK), the elements from the diner have no snap points.
In CK you can adjust the coordinates (floating point) precisely in "Edit mode" for the element.

In the render window or in the list, right-click on the object -> Edit.
Then you can precisely align it with rotation and x, y and z coordinates.
