Devious Integration 4.1 / Fnis XXL / SKSE Mem fix / anim usage and memory issues.

Hi, been following the board for a while and have checked many threads. Last time I updated to the latest devious devices 4, I had to remod from start as my game broke (Not blaming the DDI team they do a great job, I updated other things also). This time I have managed to get it all working but had to delete a lot of anims to get it to load, have gone down from around 14-15k anims to just under 12k. Always used Fnis XXL as I have a good sys and 16gb mem. But I'm wondering why I've lost the ability to run the extra 3k anims. 

Is it not just the amount of anims but the size of them ?

Can I reduce the standard sexlab anims down without too much trouble, is there a tool or mod / guide ?

Does everyone use the SKSE + SSME  memory fix ini's and hdtmempatch together as I have read conflicting info on this ? 

Does anyone have a link to the latest HDTSkyrimmempatch (Have tried repeatedly at baidu to get latest, their file manager required an account and I can't read the language)  ?

Is there a difference in usage between standard HDTSkyrimmempatch for UUNP HDT compared to HDT SMP or will the latest HDTSkyrimmempatch work for both ?

Does anyone have a conclusive guide to EMB settings / HDTSkyrimmempatch / SKSE memfix ini usage together or which to use for max memory gains ? I have read many conflicting guides :(

Is there a way to resolve an issue with default female nord char on a new game, the model seems slightly dodgy and maybe causing instability, but I've remade the UUNP models / nifs and textures from scratch and installed AIO HDT pussy 4.0 from scratch ? not sure what's affecting it, from my point of view all models, textures etc should be spot on.

Does anyone have a link to the cleaned *.esm files ? (I've cleaned my own but the dawnguard one is still staying it needs more cleaning)

Any help with some or all of these questions is greatly appreciated and I'm sure some clarity would help new users and vets alike. Thanks in advance :)

As i know the size of the animations have none to make. Im not totaly sure, but i read some about the problem and appear that come from the Alternate Animations(AA) because the new versions of DD 4.0 and 4.1 add hundreds of AA. Look my fnis log, i have DD 3.3 and a lot of animations mod's and you can see 10599 animations but only 698 AA with normal fnis, i not have fnis XXL

As i know only can be made by manually editing the txt files that come with sexlab and have the list of animations that fnis read and process.

You only need this:

SKSE Memory Patch (that really is a simple ini file)

Crash Fixes 12

ENB preferable in Boost mode

 

All others tools are old and has been superssed by others tools. Un-Install all of this if you have it: 

SSME, hdtmempatch, HDTSkyrimmempatch

I only use ENB in Boost mode because my machine not support a full enb.

Test in game and give us screenshots and more details about the exact problem.

Not worry about it. I play moded skyrim for 5 years and NEVER clean my masters.

First, listen to GenioMaestro he's usually right.

 

Second, go back two threads in Technical Support to "Making FNIS XXL work" or something like that. Fore (of FNIS) fame gave the best and most concise answer to your questions about the number of animations possible I have yet heard (and I've heard a lot of them).

 

Third, go to the Adult Mods section. You will find a recent thread about removing animations (something along that line is the title). If the information given there by CPU and MadMansGun is not sufficient to answer your questions about removing animations just add your specific question to that thread. You won't get better advice about that topic than you can from those two.

 

If I missed anything important (between what GenioMaestro and the two references I gave you) please post it again and we will all chip in to help.

Not worry about it. I play moded skyrim for 5 years and NEVER clean my masters.

Thanks for the reply. I removed SMSE and HDTSyrimMemPatch to see if there is any improvement when just using SKSE.ini and it failed to load this also happens when starting a new char so I know its system wide and not my current save, I had the following error in crashfix12 :

"01 Aug 21:59:16 Skyrim has crashed while setting up FootIK. Some things you can try to fix this problem:
1. Reduce the amount of installed animations.
2. Try reload the save until it works."

I'm already down 2-3k anims on what I was running and have recently uninstalled about 30 mods and adjusted priority load order in MO using a guide. I'm using about 30 less mods and 3k less anims than I used to run stable and I'm still having CTDs and failure to load if I add any more anims. It only seems to work now with SKSE.ini + HDTSkyrimMemPatch together, is it possible it's my emb local settings ? , PS I also don't use a full EMB it's just the basic boost.

I tested my video memory in dx9 was 16224 and took off 350mb as suggested in the guide. I'm getting readings in console of memory block 16 @ 78% and memory block 32 @ 68% when standing by the well in whiterun with about 20 npcs nearby. 

As for the female model error it's to do with a clothing pack I installed the hands are too big and have an obvious join, but only when clothed, also it's stuck on the oldrace face, when naked the body and hands match. I've removed the clothing mod LSAR (a little sexyapparel replacer) But still have the hand problem. Is it possible the mod changed some settings outside of AIO HDTPussy4, as I've reinstalled that so it's clean now and the mod LSAR is deleted. I'm not too worried about the model problem as I can try new clothing mods and put up with the seam for now. The memory issue is my main concern as once that is sorted I can start to work on getting a stable modlist.

Thanks for the help so far, I have at least removed SMSE without any issues.

Thank for the reply. I checked out the thread, I'm aware FNIS only has a minor script or 2 running after the anim creation process and have reduced my anims at least 4 times now to being 3k less than I used to run. I'm not sure if it's related to updates for mods like DDI / DDE and other tweaks in my skyrim.ini / skyrimprefs.ini / emb inis as I lost all my original tweaked inis and had to redo them from a guide. Luckily I had zipped up my mod folder so had a backup of that, but not with the rest of MO including the profile dir. lol all fun n games, spent about 4 days removing mods and anims and playtesting to get a stable build.

Your FootIK Error is solved with Load Game CTD Fix because is a thread collision when load game. But if you have FootIK error when start NEW GAME is a diferent problem that i never see.

 

I not know HDTSyrimMemPatch and not have it. If you have frecuent CTD can try the new memory manager included with Crash Fixes. Install SKSE Plugin Preloader and enable "UseOSAllocators=1" in CrashFixPlugin.ini

 

About ENB be sure you are ussing the las version 0.319 and the only diferent parameter that i have is EnableCompression=false 

If the VRamSizeTest give you good results you can put VideoMemorySizeMb=0 and AutodetectVideoMemorySize=true because the VRamSizeTest is included internaly in the new versions.

 

Use BethIni for manage the ini files. Be sure you tick ENB Mode and Recomended Tweaks and press high or ultra. Some delicated paramers in the ini files are related to stability and can solve CTD.

 

The problem with DD 4.1 is the number of animations, objects and scripts. The mod has grow a lot from version 3 to 4 and a lot of people have problems with it because carry the game to the limit. The problem is not from DD 4.1 because the mod work perfect if you have only 50 or 100 mods, but if your have 150 or 200 the game can't manage all the information from all the mod's and make CTD.

Hi GenioMaestro, Cheers for the reply. I removed load game ctd fix a while ago because I read it was not needed after a plugin or tweak I used, will re-add it see if it helps although it's unsupported these days" "Attention: This mod is no longer being supported or updated."

I have UseOSAllocators=1 set in
CrashFixPlugin.ini and the preloader dll is in my main skyrim dir. I'm also using the latest version 0.319 with the enboost 6 ini and have Bethini installed as I followed the S.T.E.P skyrim guide to tweak my setup. Sorry I should have been more specific in my OP.

Agreed on DD 4.1 If i go back to my old MO mod setup with DD version 3 I can have over 200 mods installed and 15k anims. DD 4.1 works awesome, I think you're right I'm just used to having so many anims and mods installed my Skyrim feels kind of naked lol. But essentially I think I just have to get used to the fact that if I want DD 4.1, I will have to sacrifice anims and mods to make room.

I also run Skyrim in VR with Vorpx occasionally (Not recently because of stability issues) so am thinking of moving to Skyrim VR as a lot of the mods I want seem to be ported and stable.
