need help with MO sorting load and priortiy order

OK so i figured out that not only the right side(load order) effects the game but the left side(priority order) has ah effect if not a bigger impact on the Gameplay too but because i am a noob i do need some help and guidance. im going to post my load and priority order  so if anyone can lend you expertise.

i think you should disable the high-res texturepack esps because that takes up 3 mod slots and 2GB of ram and doesn't change a thing and as for load priority i believe that if two or more things change the same thing for example an Imperial sword the top of the priority list affects it and load order is the stuff at the bottom and also move sexlab framework above zaz or else you will crash on load and all things for alternate start to the bottom under the base.

OK, i won't go through your entire mod list but give you some general advice that will hopefully help you to figure it out for yourself. The first thing you need to know: MO tells you if something is overwritten, and by what. When you see a _ that means a mod is overwriten by another one, double click it, go to conflicts and you see which files exactly (not that much important usually) and by which mod. Second is: As long as you use the priority order which i strongly recommend and is default, mods further down win conflicts against those upwards.

Then... use some common sense. Which mod is supposed to win a possible conflict? The most basic mods and frameworks should be first, i.e Sexlab should be higher than any mods using it, SLAL should be higher than any packs, mods higher than any patches for them, etc.

 

One exception is the skeleton, XPMSE is quite basic but should pretty much always be last or at least not be overwritten by anything because the animations and other things are made to use the skeleton AS IT IS. Skyrim really dislikes mods trying to use a skeleton that is not made with exactly this skeleton in mind.

 

Another exception are utilities like Papyrus util, this is included in Sexlab and there is only one reason to install it additionally: you have another mod that requires it AND it requires a higher version than included in SL. In such a case, papyrus util is "more basic" than sexlab but you still want to overwrite it, since it's a newer version. And something such basic should be downwards compatible without exceptions (and all of those are, afaik), so you don't need to worry.

And any mod requiring it or anything of that kind should mention that explicitly, no point in adding anything you don't need or guessing if you need it. That means you actually need to read descriptions or at least requirements of mods you install, there is no way around that.

 

There is another sign to show that something is overwritten, it's a flash: that means that not only a few files but the whole mod is overwritten. If you see something like that it either means your order is wrong, or that the mod is redundant and can be uninstalled without losing anything.

 

A + means this mod overwrites at least another one, you can check which one(s) again by double click. Can be in combination with _, then some files are overwritten by this mod and other files in this mod are overwritten by something else. 

 

*edit: so far should work fine already, but sorting your left side to fit the right side isn't bad either. Although i wouldn't suggest a certain CTD is caused by not doing it, it might help to improve some stability issues.

ok i followed tes5edit instructions on how to clean stuff and its working for now. when i use alternative start and chose lord harkon side was where id get the bugs of old from and ctds. i didnt get umm this time around so i guess thats good.
