Would 16GB RAM inprove Fallout 4 stability and frame?

Currently running at 8GB with a GTX1080 without any ENB.

Other than low frames in the city area, I have a long wait time during quicksave and autosave whenever I am receiving radiation.

while it wouldn't hurt to have 16GB of ram, i would recommend a SSD drive before that

(also don't bother getting more than 16GB unless you use photoshop or video/modelling software)

Make things more stable? Yes.

Make things faster?

No. Beth needs fast ram, not more ram. All Beth games benefit from higher bandwidth throughput directly,  has been a thing since Morrowind.

Yea you will benefit from it and as 27X also says faster ram, check what your mainboard can run before you get any ram at all.

If your Mobo cant run them, dont get them. If the new rams are faster then your old you need to replace them all, since your new cant run at the speed they want.

You should have one list at your mobo manufacturer what ram you can use.

Did get faster ram to my Pc did go from 1330 8gig to 1600 and 16 gig, and my Skyrim that runs basic the same engine did run mutch better.

FRAMERATE

Do NOT enable full 16 GB if you haave only 16 GB ! That being said download the so called ENBOOST (at nexus for example) dont worry, you dont need an ENB for it to work. Chose the 16 GB option and install it. After that open the Config and change the used Ram to 12.

You SHOULD recieve a significant FrameBoost.

If not good enough try the framerate-booster Mods at nexus (they alter shadowdistances and so on, so nothing you really care about ingame) they can give you some more frames too !

FASTER LOADING

You need faster Ram (so newer Ram) or install the game to an SSD
