cleavagesweat Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 hey guys - i'm trying to edit a brow dds file in photoshop and edited out the part in the red box (see image) but in game the strands are still there. I placed the dds in the correct location and the MIPS are ok but just doesn't seem to take in game. any ideas if just editing the dds is enough to change the in-game appearance? ty

I... uh... dunno what that means so I think its safe to say no  is there any way you can elaborate a little to get me started?  after I made my edits, when I saved this is what options there are: Â
Andy14 Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Brows and hairs use hairntint colors. So the alpha channel in diffuse and in normalmap must match the diffuse map. Â
cleavagesweat Posted June 20, 2018 Author Posted June 20, 2018 alright but I still don't know what i'm supposed to do to make it work. which checkboxes are not correct?

cleavagesweat Posted June 20, 2018 Author Posted June 20, 2018 didn't work in photoshop but I did have GIMP installed so I opened it in that and I saw the "alpha" and was able to erase the part I wanted to. GIMP is so much better than PS its ridiculous... just need to learn it.
