DJ-a Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I think i have everything installed correctly, but the instructions are vague at best. I have both script extenders from LL, in the correct area. I have MCM installed. When any kind of sex act takes place, both characters just stand there naked, with sounds playing in the background. Load order from nexusmodmanager is... FalloutNV.esm Sexout.esm SexoutCommonResources.esm SexoutBrutalRapers.esp Type 6.esp Type3mclothing.esp The Mod Configuration Menu.esp Please help, as i've done everything the install thread said to do, and i've checked numerous other threads about this and nothing has worked.
DJ-a Posted October 3, 2012 Author Posted October 3, 2012 Fixed it myself, I did not have data installed. My only complaint with the mod is that all the parts are all in different threads, and the main "How to Install" thread doesnt include the same information as the sexout mod thread.

Anyone know how to fix this? *just found out i could edit* Ok, the problem is directly related to the data mod. When i remove it, anims stop but all the creatures work fine, when i re-add it, anims start but all creatures (at least dog and bighorn) have been replaced with the red triangle and exclamation point. *edit 2* after playing around starting and unstarting everything.. it works. Im not sure what I did but it works. I did not change the load order, or add/remove anything, but i guess something I did kicked it in the... well it works.

Is it Sexout? Because SexoutNG has basically everything you need in that thread. I also wouldn't say the information is "vague" at best, seeing as I've not seen anybody else having this problem. Have you read the FAQ? Also, do you have the skeletons and other required plugins installed? Check the SCR thread, in the original post, it could be that you're missing the textures and meshes for dog/bighorner/mutant penises. As for you Zack, we need a load order and more details on your problem.

First off, your sexout esms appear to be in the right order, but your total load order is wrong. Your DLCs should be right after FalloutNV.esm. Suggest you download BOSS from Nexus and use that to get a more accurate load order. It's not perfect but will correct most load order problems. After running BOSS, verify the order of the Sexout esm files again (pregnancy may be in the wrong place after BOSS). Once that's done, try it again. If you still have issues, make sure that your NVSE ( nvse.silverlock.org ) is updated to the correct version (version 3beta2), and that it installed correctly in the fallout new vegas folder. Then verify that the current NVSE Extender files are located in the ../fallout new vegas/data/nvse/plugins/ folder. Beyond that (if you still have an issue), do what ChancellorKremlin said. Read the FAQ. Then for good measure, read it again. All of it. The information is there, and in the individual mods (sexoutNG, SCR, etc). Look for any prerequisites needed (from LL or from Nexus), and download/install those following their instructions then check here for any changes to them (SCR requires that some downloaded mods need to have the esps unchecked in the mod manager/launcher).

The code that runs in working girl for Jason Bright is extremely simple and common and the same code that runs for nearly all types of Sexout sex: set Sexout.SexType to Vaginal set SexoutNG.ActorA to GetSelf set SexoutNG.ActorB to Player CIOS SexoutNGBegin If that code were causing a crash, you'd be crashing every time you used Sexout, not JUST with Jason Bright. A reasonable assumption then is that you have another problem such as missing textures or meshes regarding ghoul NPCs. You really should re-verify that you have all the required files for each and every Sexout plugin you're using (including ancillary files like my Compatability Skeleton and body replacers and BnB animations). Go through your installation and verify you have all you need. I could probably give you more concrete suggestions as to what you may or may not be missing but you didn't post a load order.

I'm surprised you don't crash constantly... your load order is pretty much a disaster. You should consider ordering your plugins according to functionality so they don't conflict with each other. Sexout esps can generally go anywhere and the esms have specific load order which you appear to have correct... but the rest of your load order mixes functionality all over the place. Generally accepted load order practice is to place races/presets/hair first. Then locations/equipment. Then dialogue/quests. Then overrides/replacers/gameplay mods. That will produce a much more stable game. now some people may disagree and there ARE valid alternatives to what I suggested depending on the type of mods involved and their specific needs. What dialogue option are you using in SexoutSex specifically to initiate sex with Jason that works? EDIT: In the future, enclose load orders listings inside spoiler tags.
Toxirn Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I am having a similar issue! At least to the threads name, namely, Animations not working. Though my error seems slightly different. I am playing through Steam and I have no DLCs what so ever. Whenever I get approached for sex (using SexoutBrutalRapes or Sexout tryout, atm powder gangers) my camera gets stuck inside the head of my character (while in third person view) and the sex scene sounds play out. After a few seconds, my character is dropped naked on the ground and the NPC walks off. During this a large red triangle with an expression mark in it is over my character (if I manage to get the camera away from the awkward position) and the NPC will be a floating head behind my character (which is standing in default position). The NPC regains his body as fast as the scene is at an end. I have been troubleshooting for the last 4 hours trying to find the cause, and I am sure I have missed or misunderstood something somewhere, but I am really at the end of my wits. My loadout is the following; FalloutNV.esm Sexout.esm SexoutCommonResource.esm SexoutLegion.esm SexoutZAZ.esp SexoutBrutalRapers.esp SexoutSS_C.esp SexoutKhans.esp SexoutKings.esp SexoutFiends.esp SexoutPowderGangers.esp SexoutWorkingGirl.esp The Mod Configuration Manager.esp I have installed SexoutNG - Core, BEWARE OF GIRL and MCM using Nexus Mod Manager. nvse is installed into Fallout new vegas folder (same as the FalloutNV.exe) and the extender has been placed in Data/nvse/plugins. I downloaded the Beta of nvse and followed the authors instructions exactly. I have installed the Astymma's Compatability Skeleton installed. One of my guesses (which I thought made sense) was that I had forgotten the textures and Meshes for ZAZ, which was stated at the start that it was needed for animations (did I misunderstand that too?), but after adding those (admittedly I had forgot, found what to download and what to leave confusing) it made zero difference. Please do not think me lazy, this is truly a last resort at the moment. Was unable to find any other thread which dealt with my situation, and those which hinted at it had very poor explanations, or reasons I have already checked several times. I have looked through the FAQ as well as the individual mods several times. Thanks for any help you can provide!
DoctaSax Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 The red triangle signifies a missing mesh, a character's body just disappearing means a missing texture. You're missing Sexout NG - Data. There's a link in NG's OP. BOG is probably installed wrong. Might also be an archive invalidation issue. Nexus Mod Manager is not recommended to use with Sexout. Use FOMM. (But in order to use FOMM, you'll need to completely uninstall every trace of NMM. If you need NMM for Skyrim, only re-install it for Skyrim.) The camera getting stuck in your head is standard if you don't use the 'telephoto' option in NG's MCM menu. That sex doesn't last long is a matter of sex duration not being set in the MCM menu.

I keep getting this kind of thing happening: Where the other partner in sex has their face and hands superimposed over mine and their body disappears. There is no animation at all until after sex has finished and I'm thrown to the ground. My Load Order is this: I've run BOSS and had not conflicts indicated. I've switched Archive Invalidation off and back on. Nothing seems to work
