About This File

a submod to give some additional buildings and units to corrupted Miao and  Katarina

 

 

READ THIS FIRST TO KNOW WHAT TO ACTIVATE!

 

This mod is modular so you can activate what you want from it.

 

tdw_corrupted_buildings.pack is the base and therefore required

  • Requires @Soil_Miaoying_Corrupted_Units.pack
  • the tdw_corrupted_buildings_alt.pack - is the same, just without the soil mod required (units got replaced with vanilla units) - only use one of them
  • also requires Mixu's Unlocker (available via steam workshop: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2859968660 )
  • and ofc requires Lazy's Corrupted Miao Ying Progression and Lazy's Corrupted Katarin

     

  • adds a bunch of buildings locked behind Miao Yings (or Katarins) corruption Stage (see Spoiler below for details)

  • also allows to recruit some vanilla units from norsca, beastmen and chaos at specific building

 

The unit mods are optional - so choose what you want and if specifically mentioned that the original pack is required, you have to have it active

  1. tdw_corrupted_buildings_add_endos_kislev.pack:
    • adds endos Kislev reskined units as seperate units for corrupted Miao and corrupted Katarin.
  2. tdw_corrupted_buildings_add_wef:
    • adds some of MachineofCat’s Forest of Debauchery units to corrupted Miao.
  3. !tdw_corrupted_buildings_add_fem_berserker.pack:
  4. !tdw_corrupted_buildings_add_Amazon_Warrior.pack:
  5. tdw_corrupted_buildings_add_slaangor.pack:
  6. tdw_corrupted_buildings_add_slaanesh_zealots.pack:
  7. tdw_corrupted_buildings_add_wos.pack:
    • adds dbswlgn3786's (DOVAKIN) Warrior of Slaanesh reskin as seperate units for corrupted Miao and corrupted Katarin.
    • Don't use together with tdw_corrupted_buildings_add_wos_vanilla.pack
  8. tdw_corrupted_buildings_add_wos_vanilla.pack:
    • submod to add vanilla Warrior of Slaanesh units for corrupted Miao.
    • Don't use together with tdw_corrupted_buildings_add_wos.pack
  9. tdw_corrupted_buildings_slaver.pack:
    • submod to add a building based slave mechanic for miao and kat

Some more details on what buildings are added:

Spoiler
  • 7 landmarks in woodelf areas ( 1 with a second level to it)
  • 1 general building chain (4 buildinglevels) for general woodelf cities (so the tree settlements)
  • replacement for the defence buildings (so 2 buildingchains with 3 lvls each) for kislev and cathay, for major cities aswell as minors - and as cathay you get also access to the kislev ones in kislev lands (but only in kislev)
  • in total 5 building chains mirroring the vanilla kislev recruitment buildings for kislev (again available also for cathay in kislev lands)
  • 1 building chain (3 levels) for norscan recruitment available in all northern chaos waste settlements (and only there)
  • 2 buildingchains (one for major cities and one for minors) as replacement for the marketchain in kislev (again also for cathay in kislevlands)
  • 1 buildingchain (with 4 levels) for all northern chaoswaste main settlements
  • 1 buildingchain (with 3 levels) for the 3 bastions
  • 3 buildingchains (with 2 levels) for beastmen recruitment on specific settlements (village of the moon in cathay, quelness in bretonia and forrest of arnheim in naggaroth)
  • 3 buildings (1 level) for skinwolves around kislev (igerov, tower of khrakk and altar of spwans) for cathay and katarin
  • 1 Buildingchain (7 levels) for a slaaneshi temple Building for cathay

I followed as instructed, but the game still did not work. The mod manager gave me these errors: 

  • First Crash Report:

    • Mod causing crash: tdw_soil_corrupted_units_0903.pack
    • Invalid database record: court_of_bliss_0soil_attack_cth_melee_vanilla in table building_effects_junction_tables
    • Pack file: tdw_soil_corrupted_units_0903.pack
  • Second Crash Report:

    • Mod causing crash: tdw_corrupted_Buildings.pack
    • Invalid database record: 999784495907 in table armed_citizenry_units_to_unit_groups_junctions_tables
    • Pack file: tdw_corrupted_Buildings.pack

You are missing the corrupted landmarks mod (which is a requirement for soils unit mod)

Also, just fuck Discord in general.  I refuse to use.  So I guess no custom units from this mod until the updated soil mod is added here...?

Yeah it works with it - it has no known incopatiblities so far (at least i never found one and never got any reported)

Will this mod be updated to depend on the latest SoilCorrupted build, as the Jury-Rigged version is incompatible with 6.0.1?

Edit: or is that functionality deemed redundand with the new Soil functions?

Jury Rigged isnt required anymore - use old versions at own risk.

Recheck your dependencies. Crash at Game start is 99% a missing Dependency.

I am encountering an error upon starting the game with tdw_corrupted_buildings_slaver.

I am unable to place the slave hunter buildings anywhere. Miao is corruption level 4 but it just tells me there is no available slot to place the building even If I have nothing built there yet.

Habu if you see this, I've added a bunch of fixes to tdw_corrupted_buildings_add_wef at this point beyond just making it work for High Elves, I recommend you take my version I have posted with Alarielle and upload that one. Fixes several typos and some effects bugs with sisters of thorn and dryads units.

The new slave buildings have no images in their descriptions — not a game-breaking bug, but a bit ugly to look at and thanks for still maintaining the mods; I use them in every campaign!

After some extensive testing I figured out that tdw_corrupted_buildings_slaver.pack crashes my game upon campaign start, no matter what load order or anything else I do with it.

Not sure if it's a mod conflict or a problem with the mod itself, but you should look into that.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I tested the pack again and couldn’t reproduce the crash, so I’m pretty sure it’s not coming from my mod. It’s likely coming from another mod in your setup. If you can share more details, I can check if I can help you with that.

Using nothing but tdw_corrupted_buildings_alt.pack  & it's required mods & it causes cavalry to stand & T-pose on the backs of their horses, I can supply pictures if required

You're probably already aware, but the mods seem to be (expectedly) borked by the new update.
