Spike Fun
For X-Change Life 0.25.9
Spike Fun adds a large collection of adult scenarios built around the PC being secretly given transformation pills, drugs, and other effects.
What originally started as a way for the PC to get their drink spiked has grown into a broader system covering bars, clubs, work, recurring NPCs, special stories, drug combinations, attempts to identify what happened, and consequences that can continue after the original incident.
Content Warning
Spike Fun contains adult content involving:
-
drugging and involuntary transformations;
-
coercive situations;
-
non-consensual sexual scenarios;
-
sexual exploitation and blackmail;
-
altered judgment and compulsive effects.
Â
The non-consensual sex events can be disabled in Spike Fun's settings.
Spike frequency and several other parts of the experience can also be adjusted.
Â
Requirements
Spike Fun requires:
-
U666 DF4 Spike Drug Registry
-
U666 Spike Fun Media
Â
Any drugs or gender-swapping pills you want used in the system:
Â
You do not need to install every U666 Drug or U666 Pill.
Â
Spike Fun contains the core payloads it needs to function. Additional compatible drugs and pills expand the possible things that can happen.
Â
Installation
Install the required files through Mod Loader.
Spike Fun Media
Do not unpack the Spike Fun Media ZIP.
It is a Mod Loader media package and should be installed as-is.
Spike Fun
Install the Spike Fun .xcl package normally.
Required frameworks
Also install:
-
Drug Framework
-
Drug Framework - Spike Registry
Â
Mod Loader should handle the declared dependency ordering.
Â
The U666 Mod Settings Organizer is optional but recommended if you use several of my mods and want their settings collected more cleanly.
Â
What Does Spike Fun Do?
Random Spikes
The PC may encounter attempts to secretly administer drugs or transformation products in several parts of the game.
Â
Spike Fun distinguishes between:
-
transformation-focused spikes while the PC is male;
-
drug/effect spikes while the PC is already female;
-
authored story payloads;
-
lighter random incidents;
-
rare or major payloads.
Â
The contents of a spike can depend on the location, situation, culprit, PC state, and compatible products you have installed.
Â
Not every drug is allowed in every event.
Especially dangerous or story-specific products can be restricted to authored scenarios instead of appearing in the general random pool.
Â
Different Culprits Want Different Things
Spike Fun does not treat every spiker as the same generic NPC.
Â
Their personality, goals, and circumstances can influence:
-
whether they try something
-
what sort of payload they use
-
what they hope will happen afterward
-
whether the PC has a chance to notice
-
what consequences follow
Â
Some incidents are isolated.
Others can introduce recurring characters or longer situations.
Â
Bars, Clubs, and Venues
The Broken Drum remains one of Spike Fun's major locations, with drink spikes, interruptions, special stories, patron activity, and aftermath events.
Spike Fun also supports the Electric Pickle, with venue-specific activity and responses rather than simply treating it as another copy of the Drum.
The current system also has infrastructure for compatible third-party bar venues where the necessary capabilities are available.
Venue activity can rise and fall, affecting how much spiking pressure the PC encounters.
Â
Seeing Something Suspicious
The PC is not always the target.
Spike Fun includes incidents where the player can witness suspicious behavior and may have opportunities to:
-
intervene
-
confront someone
-
report an incident
-
ignore it
-
fail to stop it
Â
Success may depend on the situation and the PC's condition or abilities.
Reported incidents can influence later activity and recurring Spike Fun stories.
Â
Workplace Spikes
Spike Fun can replace or expand the game's workplace-spike behavior.
Â
The workplace system can use Spike Fun's modern payload selection and keep track of information such as:
-
what happened
-
whether the PC could have noticed or avoided it
-
the apparent motive
-
the payload used
-
follow-up information needed by compatible workplace mods
Â
This can be enabled or disabled in Spike Fun's settings.
Â
What Did They Give Me?
An important part of Spike Fun is that the PC does not necessarily know.
Â
A secretly administered substance may initially be unidentified.
Â
Drug Framework and the Spike Registry track the actual payload, while Spike Fun controls what the PC reasonably knows about it.
Â
For that reason, I strongly recommend the Pill Diagnostic Kiosk.
Â
The Kiosk gives the PC an in-game method of investigating drugs and effects currently in their system rather than relying on out-of-character knowledge.
Â
Pills, Drugs, and Effects
Spike Fun uses a shared payload system instead of containing every possible pill and drug itself.
The core package includes the basic products it needs, including its Caliente/Futility support and internal transformation-payload infrastructure.
Â
Compatible U666 Drugs and Pills can add additional possibilities.
Â
Examples include:
-
Resistance Plus
-
SoloLock
-
Yin-Yang
-
Nymph-O
-
Flirtatious Femme
-
Yes
-
other DF4-compatible drugs with appropriate Spike Registry support
Â
Installing a product does not necessarily mean it can appear in every random spike. Each product can define where and how it is appropriate to use.
Â
Payload Combinations
Some spikes can contain more than one drug or effect.
Spike Fun's settings allow you to control how common these combinations are:
-
Single Only
-
Reduced
-
Standard
-
Frequent
-
Chaotic
Â
There is a separate setting controlling how heavily unusual or major payloads are weighted.
Authored stories keep their intended payloads instead of having these settings randomly rewrite them.
Â
Male and Female Spike Frequency
Current Spike Fun separates two things that older versions treated together:
Male Transformation Spikes
Controls how often a male-bodied PC is forcibly moved into female gameplay.
Female Drug Spikes
Controls drug-driven complications while the PC is already female-bodied.
Each can independently be:
-
Off
-
Rare
-
Occasional
-
Standard
-
Frequent
-
Extreme
Â
You can also leave them tied to Spike Fun's global intensity preset.
This makes it possible to substantially reduce one part of Spike Fun without disabling the other.
Â
Story Content
Spike Fun includes authored stories and recurring situations mixed into its random incidents.
These include both relatively short complications and larger chains with consequences that can persist beyond the original spike.
Current core content includes things such as:
-
special bar spike scenarios
-
housecall situations
-
recurring spikers
-
Foxhunt Club-related content
-
bar-girl incidents
-
clone/transformation scenarios
-
the Mandatory Stripper story
-
Creampie Revenge
-
special pill packages
-
recurring phone calls and follow-ups
-
HGH-related opportunities when the HGH system is installed
Â
Story content can be disabled separately from ordinary Spike Fun incidents.
Some individual stories also have their own settings.
Â
Generic Bar Girls and Bar Population
Spike Fun can expand the number of patrons at the Broken Drum.
It can also allow some bar-girl slots to be occupied by generic women rather than always giving the PC a featured named girl.
Â
Options include:
-
original three-patron behavior
-
expanded six-patron behavior
-
variable additional patrons
Â
Generic bar girls can also be disabled if you only want featured characters.
Â
Optional: Drink Spike Redux
Current version: u666 Drink Spike Redux v0.2.6
Drink Spike Redux is a separate optional mod built on Drug Framework and the Spike Registry.
It expands the ordinary situation where a male NPC offers to buy a female PC a drink.
Depending on the NPC and settings, he may attempt to add a compatible DF4 drug to it.
The PC may sometimes notice something suspicious and get an opportunity to react.
Â
Drink Spike Redux has its own frequency setting:
-
Disabled
-
Standard
-
Frequent
Â
Requires:
-
DF4 Spike Drug Registry
Â
It does not require Spike Fun, although the two are designed to work together.
Â
Optional Story Module: Dr. Healgood
Current version: Spike Fun Module - Healgood v0.1.5
Dr. Healgood is an optional Spike Fun story module centered around dealing with a particularly troublesome existing condition.
It expands Pill Poppa with additional authored content and a possible route for resolving the problem.
Requires:
-
Spike Fun
Â
Install it only if you want the additional story.
Â
Optional Story Module: TD Chad
Current version: Spike Fun Module - TD Chad v0.1.13
Tiny-Dick Chad is a much larger recurring Spike Fun scenario.
This is intentionally more intrusive than an ordinary random event and can become a significant long-term part of a playthrough.
The current version includes an expanded recurring-character arc, HGH interactions, follow-up encounters, housecalls, consequences, and longer-term progression.
Do not install TD Chad simply because it is available. Install it because you want the TD Chad scenario in your game.
Requires:
-
Spike Fun
Â
Optional: HGH Effect Core
HGH is not required for ordinary Spike Fun.
Â
If installed, Spike Fun can use HGH as part of compatible authored and recurring content.
The HGH integration is substantially more developed than the old single-event implementation and can involve remembered partners, rumors, repeat encounters, and escalating social consequences.
Â
TD Chad requires HGH.
Â
Recommended Mods
Pill Diagnostic Kiosk
Strongly recommended.
Spike Fun intentionally allows the PC to be affected by things they have not yet identified. The Diagnostic Kiosk gives you an in-world way to investigate them.
Knockoff Pharmacy
Recommended if you install a number of U666 drugs, pills, or either of the current Spike Fun story modules.
It gives third-party products a dedicated home at Pill Poppa.
U666 Mod Settings Organizer
Optional convenience mod for players using several configurable U666 mods.
Â
Compatibility
Spike Fun touches a large number of game systems, so mods that completely replace the same bar, sex, orgasm, or NPC-management passages can conflict with it.
The current build contains general warnings about known issues with:Â
-
Kokopelli's Servant
-
Nanobots Side Effects
Â
Â
The following mods how have more built-in support:
- BLACKED 0.4.28+
- Bar Drug 2.15
- DatDude's Oral Pill 1.3.0
- PURPLED 1.0.1
- LESBIANED 0.4.1
- DatDude's Demo Experiments 1.9.9
- Brrtz - Buddies Around 3.05
- Locations and Cosplay 2.25.2
- Not So Broken Drum 2.25.3
- Paradise Mall Expanded 1.4.2
Â
Â
Â

-
rare/major payload frequency;
-
story pressure;
