Way late to the party, but here's what I have off the top of my head for making followers and NPCs more dynamic: Nether's Follower Framework. I've switched to this from EFF. Among lots of other things: Gives you a reputation system for your followers that can be increased through adventuring, and followers will react positively with things like gifts for you. Followers can optionally demand payment for services. NPCs from the Thieves guild and Winterhold College (the professors) can be optionally recruited as followers after the main quest lines are complete. Can also recruit Saadia if you side with her against the Redguards. Follower Commentary Overhaul - makes followers a bit more chatty. Relationship Dialog Overhaul - adds a bunch of new lines for followers, NPCs, and spouses. Can also marry Khajiit NPCs. Adventurers PKG for NPCS - Allows you to set up partys of NPCs that will go on their own adventures throughout Skyrim. Serana Dialogue Edit and Marriable Serana - for those who wanted even more from Serana after Dawnguard was finished... And just for fun... Female Cicero (SSE) in case you wanted a psycho bitch instead of a psycho dude to accompany you on your assassin travels

This story starts with our character who was born in the year of 180 of the 4th era around the time of the signing of the second treaty of Stros M'kai she is roughly 21 when the Dragons came back. She lost her parents from a wolf attack on the road from Falkreath to Helgan when she was just 5. She would have perished to if not for a young woman who was scouting the area her name was Rigel Strong-arm. Rigel did not notice the girl at first but seen the wolf and was always ready to use her arm and her axe for any foe man or beast. Upon checking the deceased travelers Rigel heard the girl in the bushes crying for what she had just witnessed. Rigel was unsure of what to do as she was unable to take the girl to town as bounties for her in the surrounding holds would insure her arrest. So begins the story of Rigel and her new charge.... Rigel had a small house she called Pinewatch where she lived and worked out of and was also now the home to our character. Rigel took the girl in and taught her how to hunt and how to use an axe and sword. The girl learned fast as she had a hatred for animals and creature alike who were considered predators. Rigel expanded her operations and soon built an underground base to houses the crew who worked for her. The bandits came and went some died in ensuing raids some died at the hands of Rigel herself but there was a never ending supply of misfit who was looking for a home. The girl was not allowed to do bandit activities as Rigel forbid it. The girl did train with the bandits and mercenaries who came and went all had different skills some were ex soldiers some where bounty hunters and some were just cold blooded killers. as the years passed now in her late teens her name long since forgotten she was just known as "The Hunter". She was given this name as she would track down any prey with the stealth of a shadow and skill to kill it undetected. Rigel still trained her hard and she became a warrior with a sword arm that rivaled Rigel's own. The Hunter knew what Rigel did but was forgiving as she was like a mother to her and her misfit family of bandits. On her eighteenth birthday Rigel told her she could become a bounty hunter and pick up work in the surrounding holds but was never to commit crimes just do bounties for Yarls and merchants. Most of the bounties were uneventful and involved the nuance animals wolves and trolls with the occasional sprigon. That is until the Yarl of Faulkreath posted a bounty for murder who killed a local farmer... The hunter went home to tell Rigel of the bounty to ask advice and if she should do it..... to be continued

So the first part was about followers and NPC but what about you the player? Simple to create the best possible player for you takes some mods.... First make sure you have your " Skin you want and also your body type" I recommend this one it will save you much headaches and time. Make sure to you have the requirements you need them anyway no matter what you do. Also hair styles make sure you have the ones you want ...Now make sure you have your skeleton this is the one you want period https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68000 Also never ever let anything overwrite your skeleton EVER!!!! Now we want FINS https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11811/?Yes you need it. You also want Racemenu yes you need it So we can now make you look good well if you wish to play as a female sorry but I probably will not cover males as it really does no fit in my game see other clubs. Now we need to build your play style and how you want to play. This mod Levelers Tower is pinnacle in this.... why? Simple you can make yourself out to use any type of build you want without waiting... is that cheating? No why play till level 20 and decide your your build sucks why waste time. this tower lets you use perks in the Lab area and see their uses and how it will work in game. So how then? Levelers Tower has an area where you can test your build against most anything in game save for dragons..... Dragons and being inside just don't work....... The tower has its own arena where you can summon enemies to test your build yes you read that right. Now I highly recommend this mod and I highly recommend you understand this mod it is one amazing tool for characters builds it will takes some time to explore and understand all that is there but trust me once you have it.... it will always be in your game It has a shit-ton of stuff in it ... including its own spells. So now we have an amazing looking character who is the build you really wanted to play how you want to play. What now? We now want to change the look of the game with one simple mod called Vivid Weathers with the right settings you should not need an EMB this works that well and frees up dealing with weather and lighting mods this does it all. Really? Yes really see my pic. This ends part 2 but will continue this series in part 3 Also please if you have questions PM me don"t ask here the club is for showcasing only.

The next few subjects will be covering the methods to use all of Skyrims NPC and followers to the best of their abilities. The links will be in this topic to do all you need to change almost anything to an NPC in game without the CK. I will give an overview here on how to do it but will include a detailed description in corresponding subjects each mod and what it can do. Manipulator This mod lets us change some fundamentals of a NPC ...disposition, marriage, follower, essential and body-slide info. This for now is all that is used remember to edit a NPC you must have them in your cross-hairs. Scent of sex The only thing we will use with this is the actor editor nothing else. This edit does it as well as the CK but in game so what does it do well on the actor edit tab it should show any NPC near you select the one you want to edit it will have a faction tab, property tab, and fellowship. faction should be self explanatory but is the most important one we will use. You can add or remove any faction you want from the NPC..... Example lakeview manor is attacked by bandits all the time and will kill what ever is there including your bard you hire because they go outside. Using the edit tab we can now add the bard and anyone else that lives there to the bandit faction and the bandits will no longer attack them. Do not kid yourself in thinking council commands will work also I have tried many times it works only for a while then they revert back. as stated this does it as good as the CK kit. You can also add yourself to all know factions and remove them at will... this is very important to remember use this to add and remove only. Follower live package This is the best hands down follower frame work ever made for Skyrim yes I used them all. I know what your saying but I use AFT ect... this frame work looks daunting but it is not I do recommend playing with it the features it has is amazing and you can ask anyone yes anyone to follow you so long as they see you as a friend.... enter the Manipulator set any NPC to friend and a dialog will show to " follow me" there you go now anyone can be a follower this will attach a follower faction to them to remove it use Scent of sex actor edit. Even after you use a follower you can "revert them back to " normal " change their disposition to what ever it was before and remove follower faction an they are back to normal. This follower package does way more though you can make anyone wander around, hang around, work anywhere yes anywhere even that tiny Island in lake Ilinalta and they will stay there. My home is your home Use this to set a NPC or follower a new home can also have them work and sleep in different areas. Remember to set a home before dismissing them and or changing them back to a normal NPC. Pocket empire builder So now we can change NPC and followers we can give them jobs and now we need a fresh new place to call home this mods does just that. Build your town anywhere you want has many features even has the ability to copy a NPC and move them somewhere else without interfering with the original. So what does this all mean well a more dynamic way of playing now NPC really can be interactive and useful follower will actively hunt enemies gather ingredients defend you.... NPC can now be more than wall art or punching bags. I strongly recommend if you plan on doing certain quests with a NPC you want to change do their quest first then change away...... Again this is just a brief overview but with these mods it will change how you play and makes having a follower fun again makes interacting with NPC fun again this is just a short list I will include more to change Skyrim for the better. To be continued.....

Elisif the Fair The Yarl of Haafingar is a grieving widow as you will find out as you enter Solitude and witness the execution of a man convicted of helping Ulfric escape after murdering her husband. Elisif is often portrayed as a puppet of what ever faction wins the war or is she a smart diplomat? Elisif has a concern for her citizens and will want to send a detachment of soldiers to investigate a cave with reports of wrong doings there. She would have been right to do so as the cave is infested with necromancers. Many of Dragon-born thought to curry her favor and hopes of marriage with the widow but it was never meant to be as the most you can hope for with her favor is a title of Thane. Of note Elisif is the only Jarl who does not sit like a slob while in attendance of the court she sits straight and is attentive. Elisif is one of the few NPC in game that most players feel a connection with and will often swing by the Blue Palace to check on her. Side Note: First time I tried the civil war with the Storm-cloaks and she was surrounded by Storm-cloaks I thought for sure they were going to execute her.... It was at that moment I told myself if a sword touches her I will execute every solider there including Ulfric. I swore I would be a plague on the land and purge ever Storm-cloak camp and supporter in Skyrim.... Perhaps that is why she was not killed Ulfric knew ( as did game designers ) The full force of the Dragon-born would come to bare revenge for her death. Also of note Elisif is the only Jarl who keeps the thrown no matter who wins the civil war...... She cannot be a follower unless you use mods.. however, it is strongly recommend if you do so wait till you are done with the Thane quest. After you level her up she is a capable follower being skilled in one handed weapons, light armor, archery, and good at sneaking.

This topic is vast and has many threads none of them are easy to find or uncover but evidence in game and logic will bring some of the events to light as the Harkon story unfolds. This is a story and theory made by myself as evidence found in game and through dialog tells of something more than even the most astute may have missed and connected. This story begins when we first meet Serana in Dimhollow Crypt the first notes we must make is what that place is it has Akavir influence in it however this means little as Serana states "this place has changed so much" when asking her about the way out. Also of note there are three broken statues of snake heads with red eyes these are only found here nowhere else are they reference Sithis? So it can be inferred that the structures were built after her entombment. She also did not know about the Empire and the Imperails at Crrodiil. Some of the best in game evidence to age comes from Durnheviir he mentions Valerica was locked up during a time when dragons roamed freely this was before the dragon wars again if in vanilla game it is cannon. So it can be reasoned around the late Merethic Era as the first Era marched in a new time where dragons were not in control. So that is some time frame to be locked away from Harkon. However she stated it he was not always like this Harkon became obsessed with a prophesy " The Tyranny of the sun" created by Arch-Curate Vyrthur of course it was unknown to her at the time he created it. It is referenced Harkon was a mighty king but where?? Could it be he is from Atmora as Nords came from there as he is a Nord. We also know they did not originate at Castle Volkihar as Serana states information about the Castle and it prior owners ... So it can be concluded she was around before they occupied it but events that happen after lead to her being hidden away. So could it be he left his Kingdom in Atmora after he slaughtered all in it to become a vampire as supposed a thousand innocents where given as a sacrifice. It could be he had knowledge of the castle as being a King would require trade and trade routes to other areas.... was castle Volkihar a way point from Atmora to High Rock? ( see map ) was that why he choose it for its solitude and being very isolated? So we are left yet with more questions what about the time before his obsession with the prophesy how long was that years, decades, centuries? And the huge elephant in the room when did Serana and her mother become a vampire? Was it shortly after Harkon became one was that also part of the deal but when? I believe Harkon was the first vampire as the origanal vampire Lamae Bal will not work with the times in game or her time frame is misunderstood as she is cited as a first era. Again game = cannon so I go with game time of pre-first era for Harkon. To be continued soon..... Before we go deeper let us look at the " prophesy " in game it is stated that Arch-Curate Vyrthur created this prophesy.. So did Vyrthur then create and write an Elder-scroll? By all accounts that is what the evidence points to did Vyrthur have the power to do this? We know he was a direct link to Auri-El " had the ear of the gods" what power did he have? We know Auri-El is the father of dragons and also " he" ( unknown gender if any) the father of time cited as the first before all else. So where does this lead us... simple really... Auri-El knows the present, past, and future and would know all that was going to happen there for allowed the " prophesy " be written but why? Only theory that could work is to right a wrong created by Molag Bal AKA Lord Harkon. Given the location of the " Path to Enlightenment " and the proximity of Castle Volkihar it can be deduced the vampire who infected Arch-Curate Vythur came from there. Here is where speculation comes in to play: You the Dragon-born are given Auri-El's bow to defeat Harkon the very bow he created and used in battle... The only one who has ever used it. Are you an incarnation with limited memory of Auri-El?..... ( story for another time) So we concluded the whens and the hows and the reasons behind the whole Harkon story. So the conclusion we have is Lord Harkon gave all including his daughter and wife to Molag Bal for immortality... I believe Serana and Valerica were part of the deal struck by Harkon and were taken by Molag Bal prior to given Harkon his powers. The evidence shows Merethic Era for this union of Harkon's family with Molag Bal the evidence shows Auri-El had a direct involvement to the undoing of Molag Bal's blight he created. The evidence shown gives a reasonable understanding of the events that took place in ancient times to the present where Harkon's story ends...

Adelaisa Vedicci is an Imperial who works for the East Empire Company with the class of citizen and will give the quest Rise in the East an interesting quest and worth while to do. After the completion of Rise in the East Adelaisa will be available as a follower. She has a cap at level 25 that can be removed ( strongly recommended ) as she progresses in levels she becomes a reliable follower with unique comments on traveling. Often overlooked as a follower due to her lack of combat skill but as stated above remove her cap and her skills start to shine. She has skill in one handed weapons, archery, and sneak she will be found with heavy Imperial armor when you meet her ( makes no sense as she is unskilled in heavy armor ). Adelaisa is worth a second look the strongest followers are not always the best she has a good back story with dialog.... If The PC is looking for a sneak follower she will fit the bill after leveling her up she would be a rouge class and well rounded for sneaking and stealing. Remember all vanilla followers need your help as they need help with light-foot training remember a follower is only as good as their leaders so help them out. Adelaisa is happy being single she really is not interested in marriage but will follow you where you go and if asked she just may give up her career and be a Steward of a home you build. -

Frea is our next follower she is part of the Draginborn DLC and is found in the Skaal village in the northern parts of Solstheim. Frea is often overlooked as a follower due to her not being in a "marriage faction". Frea is a beautiful nord woman who is Shaman but do not that fool you. Frea is in a class all her own for combat second to none one handed weapons being her main choice often dual wielding axes Frea has light armor perks but wears Nordic heavy armor [ unknown why they gave her heavy armor ]. Often before combat she will cast a armor spell. Frea has no level caps she will be what you are for level min 20. Frea has many interactions in Solstheim as well as Skyrim often making comments on places or events. She has no real desire to be a Shaman it was not her choice but feels a great obligation to her people to be one and will always wish to remain in her village if you dismiss her. Frea is one of the true gems to come out of the Dragonborn DLC and will fight by your side till the end of the game if you so choose. Frea remains one of my favorites and has been in many play through standing tall by my side. -
Mysteries

BY now in any play-through the PC has become aware of the on going Civil-War this is no mystery but events around it are. The Civil-War has reached a stalemate no side can progress any further including the Thalmor the sides are powerless to have any real advantage in Skyrim.... Why? Simple really one only has to look at the roads in Skyrim they are dotted with forts and camps of bandits and Fore-sworn. Both bandits and Fore-sworn are forces to be reckoned with both having lost all for one reason or another and what they have left their "camps" they will defend ferociously and will attack any who threaten them. ( See bandit section) Even the Jarl's of the holds are powerless to do anything the best they do is come to an uneasy agreement to leave them alone as going against a fort of bandits will end in the hold guards death. Any patrols the Imperials, Thalmor, and Storm-cloaks do manage to have in the wilds come under heavy attack with the result the same death for those patrols and a loss of resources and man-power. This is what the Thalmor, Storm-cloaks, and Imperials failed to understand their wars have left many homeless refugees people who have become bitter and hateful as they watched everything they cared for had been burned away and butchered . These are the people that the Waring factions turned their backs on for personal gain and idealism's that do nothing to feed a hunger a family has. These are the people who watched their fathers, wives, daughter, and sons get slaughtered their legacy burned to the ground. So next time you take arms against a bandit or Fore-sworn think of the lives this person lost all due to Waring factions wanting control. Not really a mystery but seen many theories and why the Dragon-born makes the difference in the war this is mine because without you they are weak and powerless. -
Mysteries
woodsman30 replied to woodsman30's topic in Skyrim's NPC's, Followers, and Mysteries's Mysteries
Our next mystery can be found early in game when traveling to Ivarstead on your way to High Hrothgar: Ivarstead is a small village that has some real strange stuff going on here is some of them I noticed. This I post awhile back before I made this Club: Ivarstead has many mysteries and I would like to air a few out here.... We all know about Narfi's sister gone "missing" most believe she was attacked by a bandit or perhaps Wilhelm was involved some way. It deepens more when Narfi becomes a target of the Dark-brotherhood where did that contract come from? There is more though that most have missed.... Ivarstead has secrets to rival even Rorikstead. A radiant quest to find some equipment sends you to Ivarstead given from Wylandriah the court wizard of Riften... why is there is a Dwemer spoon at Fellstar Farm seems innocent enough right? I've done a complete check of the place and what is interesting is blackrobes and a book called Aedra and Daedra can be found there "Ivarstead is vanilla in my game" that makes little sense right? That book is very rare in Skyrim and why is it here with blackrobes in Fellstar farm? Why does Bolti say to you "You better not be here to stir up any trouble.", or "Pilgrim or not, if I were you, I'd move right through our backwards little town." why the threats from a farmer? How is it Bolti is "good friends" with a Bosmer wizard from Riften? We will also look at that "backwards" line soon. Lets look at Nafri's sister Reyda she went missing when she went to gather plants and herbs often by and Island says Wilhelm. In the river one finds two floating iron arrows below lies a skeleton that is supposedly Reyda with her satchel. In the satchel you'll find Reyda's necklace nothing but a basic silver necklace why was in her satchel not on her? We know the current is flowing there as it pushes you pretty good when you try to open the satchel.. The arrows if you leave them float away they do not stay there. Besides Reyda has been missing for a year those arrows could not stay there for a year based on that. So I believe there is no way those arrows are the culprit for the demise of that skeleton in anyway. Why was Reyda gathering ...plants to sell? or to use herself ...was she an alchemist? Will Continue... have to check a few in game things... So where does this lead... there is no evidence Reyda has been killed.. only a skeleton with her necklace in a pouch and that is hardly evidence.. Reyda would be familiar with the water way as she has travel it often as per game discussions. She would even be-aware of the "backwards" current present there as the river flows opposite the waterfalls by her house and also be-aware of a long left skeleton there. Reyda being smart as most alchemist would be knew there was some strange things going on in town.. like Black-brier mead sold on the black market the ill doings of Wilhelm and trying to loot the Nordic barrow near by... Reyda would also be-aware of weird things going on at the Fellstar farm not to mention the strange relationship going on with Klimmek and Bassianus.... so where this going? I believe the evidence points to Reyda leaving and faking her own death as she wanted to leave the whole mess behind her... including her brother who she took care of. Sound to strange?... not really because we seen the same thing happen at Mistwatch where a woman became a bandit chief who just wanted out of her prior life and ran away.. So what about Narfi's contract you ask?.. simple really..... Astrid has no clue about who is requesting contracts she gets lucky some times by hearing about them in towns she travels but I believe she makes some up to make it look like she has "connections". Narfi is one of these he just is targeted as was the poor guy by the saw mill in Windhelm she seen them and figures they would be easy targets that nobody cared about. So Astrid fakes the contracts and she pays the gold to keep her status as leader of the Dark-Brotherhood. After looking at everything and doing many play through's this is what I believe happened... but of course we will never know for certain... That's my theory -

Bandit Marauders: This class is the elite of all the fore-mentioned classes they can be anyone of the fore-mentioned classes just the elite version. Some notable differences with Marauders is they are only seen in heavy armor no matter their classes with perks for it. As would be expected these elite bandits bring master level skills in their respective classes and have huge health, magic, and stamina pools. Where Marauders get their skills is anyone's guess but perhaps they were at one time emperors guards, assassins, mercenaries, or just rouge warriors who were tired of following the rules. Be sure to be prepared when facing this class all things are on the table they will hold nothing back as they know no fear and know nothing of mercy. -

Bandit Necromancer: The necromancer class is the congregation specialists reanimating anything near by including falling comrades. Much the same as the War-mage in spells and magic based cloaks. Expect to see draugr, skeletons, shades they can even summon dragon-priests making them formidable with all what they bring to the fight. Never in robes only furs and the rare occasion leather armor the have a huge magic pool as would be expected and have a large pool of health. Weapons use is not common as are seldom see using one if ever. -

Bandit War-mage: This class of bandit is magic based and what would be considered the support group and uses a plethora of spells and cloaks most spells are master level destruction. Facing a War-mage you will be hit with lighting, fireballs, and ice spears at range it is also common for them to summon an Atronach to fight by their side making them formidable in battle. Also of note they will use ward spells to block your magic should you cast at them. Never found with mage robes of any type only light armor often leather or fur. War-mages have a large magic pool as well as health their stamina is low as they are not melee combatants. Be advised that does not mean they do not know how to use one handed weapons and often will in close combat dagger in one hand spell in other.... also note-worthy they have healing spells for themselves and their comrades ....and use them. -

Before we leave Whiterun and this chapter lets go back to when you enter Whiterun and Dragon-reach. Let go to Dragons-reach they were already investigating dragons before you got there. How is that possible was there other attacks prior to this one? Delphine was already there long before you and is employing the service of the court wizard about Bleak-falls barrow and a secret it may hold about dragons. And for the record if it is in a vanilla game it is cannon aka lore. How was this known prior to you getting there?.....you are the instrument of news about Helgan and the only one left to tell the story who left Riverwood. Perhaps this was an over-site in the writing but giving the tiny details and Easter eggs in Skyrim I have my doubts. Was a chapter left out for future use in another game? For now with no way of knowing we are left with speculation and little evidence of events prior to Helgan. -

Annekke Crag-Jumper: Is next up for followers she can be found at Darkwater crossing she found the mine that the town is located at. After interaction see will ask if you will take care of a brigand she spotted after you complete this she can be made a follower. Annekke is a well thought out NPC she has a rich story and history one of the few in Skyrim but often overlooked as a follower. She holds the class of Ranger and is an expert with a bow and a one handed weapon she also high a high sneak skill make her a good choice for those sneaky missions. Annekke prefers light armor as that is what she is most skilled at wearing also of note she dual wields weapons if you leave with her pick.... She can use a shield if given one and has the skill to use it. She can be made a Steward if you want her at a home you built during the Hearth-fire DLC and leave her boring life at the mine. Annekke cannot be married without mods she is one of the few in vanilla form who looks better than most skyrim women...but with mods she is better so take this beauty with you -

Bandit Blade-masters: The speedsters of the group one handed weapons often dual wielding them is their forte .... seldom seem alone they are usually found in the company of Defenders or Berserkers. They use light armor only with perks to increase speed of movement and perk to increase weapon damage huge health and stamina for their stye can be expected. Often before an attack they will use a invisibility spell to get close as to not be noticed and then unleash a fury of one handed attacks and many include paralysis on their victims. Pared with the for-mentioned they can over-come a large group in no time... Be advised they are master archers and masters at sneak it is my speculation this group was hired assassins at one time or another for what ever faction paid the most. -

Bandit Berserker : The tank of the group heavy armor and heavy weapons are the mainstay of this group... This would be the second line of defense found in property claims made by bandits. These bandit have huge health and stamina you would expect from a heavy weapons expert often found with defenders and Blade-masters. They have crushing weapons with perks to match their devastating blows they are relentless and when paired with a Blade-master only one result usually comes .. death. Heavy armor is only thing ever worn as they have master skill level and perks in it. -

Bandit Ranger: Death from above .... bows are the weapons of choice for this class they are highly skilled archers that will rain down arrows on any foe with deadly precision and accuracy. The artillery of the group seen walking the parapets of camps, forts, and abandon castles also seen in guard towers. This is the first line of defense any unlucky person foolish enough to stumble into one of the bandits claims of property. They wear light armor only as movement is paramount to what they do... they can move and shoot at the same time making them hard to pin down often dodging your arrows you shoot at them. Be advised rushing them does not make them defenseless they are very proficient in the use of melee weapons and will switch to them in close combat often dual wielding to make their attacks twice as deadly... be advised they often conger a familiar upon start of combat. -
Bandits

Bandit Defender: One handed weapons are choice with a shield.. they are not to be taken lightly in game even at range they are very proficient with a bow so distance will not help you with them. Close range or melee style they are at their best fully capable of brushing off your hardest weapon blow with shield and retort with a quick swing of the own weapon. Beware they can shield bash and carry perks to go with their fighting style. Most times these warriors wear heavy armor ... rare if ever do you see one with light armor... My speculation is these are ex soldiers and are the special forces of the bunch. Fighting multiple Defenders at one time is not advised high health and stamina with the skills to back it up means big trouble for any who challenge them. -
Bandits are loathed by most and some say a scourge on the holds they occupy. However, there is another side to the bandit story... a story often overlooked. and untold. Most of Tamriel is still reeling from the " Great War" and it effects on the people who reside there and don't for get the "Red Mountain" story. There are many displaced people be it from war or.. loss of home from a volcano some of these I believe have become bandits. Now this is not lore just speculation however there is in game named bandits and some you can even help "Mist-watch" after helping them they will no longer see you as an enemy. I believe the bandits are ex-soldiers, mages, refugees, farmers ect... Their classes are diverse and hold to their specialty be it heavy armor and weapons to archers and light armor. I changed the bandits in game using this mod why?... simple it changes hold guards, Foresworn, bandits merc. ect.. to a uncapped level with use of weapons, magic spells, and armor allowed by your level whatever level you are so are they. Many stated this would not be lore friendly really?... only you can get stronger? .. You loot a boss chest at a bandit camp and it has a Dadric weapon so they have Dadric weapons but cannot use them they just use and iron sword ... sounds ridicules to me.... if found in game it should be made to be used by all... that would be lore friendly and realistic. What follows is pictures of various bandits at some point I may include stats, specs and yes they have perks. more to come....

Followers

Serana arguably the most popular vanilla follower in game if you have Dawn-guard installed. Serana's story is tragic if there was any ever told.... lust, lies betrayal it has it all. Shorty after the start of the Dawn-guard DLC you will encounter this vampire and you will have many questions most of will not be answered you are just left to wonder. She has the class of vampire and uses spells accordant to that class. Her father is Lord-Harkon a cruel tyrant with a blood-lust for power and will sacrifice all including his own daughter to get it so beware. Serana was lock away from his cruel intentions long ago many speculated around the first era... Serana is distant and un-trusting and this is well earned as you learn of her past... "she does well for you if you follow her vanilla dialog for following but not mod follower dialog it will break her". She does not wish to marry why would she after all she has endured just be happy she trusts you enough to follow you. The Harkon story will be delved into in the mystery section as the threads are long and complicated but we will bring it to light with evidence to support it. -
This topic is vast some lore friendly some not but most mysteries and theories will try to be met with in game evidence. Most theories rely on a vanilla game and how you played the first time ....eager to do the main quest line. Our first mystery is you "Dragon-born" as in the beginning you start with nothing but a carriage ride to your death and left to wonder why? You are on a cart heading to Helgan it is summarized that perhaps you came from Cyrodiil and was caught at the border but maybe not? After the fray at Helgan soon followed by the meet and greet in Riverwood you go off to Whiterun. When meeting Yarl Balgruuf the Greater he's word choice seems to imply he knows who you are or at least knows about you. There is this line... "There is another thing you could do for me. Suitable for someone of your particular talents, perhaps. Come, let's go find Farengar, my court wizard. He's been looking into a matter related to these dragons and... rumors of dragons." What talents you just walked from Riverwood hardly a talent is it? More on this in a minute. In the first day or so of game play you'll be charged with going to Bleak-falls barrow to go against bandits, wolves, and draugr no small task for a simple peasant. Soon after your return to Whiterun you will then be charged with confronting a dragon...your first dragon and eventually you'll win. So it is proven through combat you are not a farmer or a peasant but a sell-sword/spell-sword or mercenary at the very least { simple mage build cannot do this with out use of weapons and armor I've tried numerous times you just don't have the skill or spells you just die } So it seems Yarl Balgruuf was right about your talents... Could it be the Yarl does know about you and what has he heard prior to meeting you? Perhaps The Whispering Lady spoke to him as Balgruuf and Farengar have the only keys and know what is on the other side... was knowledge sought out by Balgruuf over the worry of losing his empire? Did Mephala reveal the unseen to him ... is that why he greets you as you are know to him....perhaps. More to come....

Our first in this series will be the " Black-Briar's" arguably the most influential NPCS in the game especially Maven She is power hungry and knows no bounds to get what she wants. Maven has dealings all over Skyrim ...she is one tough cookie and will crush anyone including her family if they go against her will. Of some interests if made a follower via "mods" she has a class called Nightblade and is no joke in combat and has some real interesting dialog to boot. Ingun Black-Briar is her daughter who when meeting will ask a favor if pressed in dialog.... Ingun has her own interests much to the dismay of her mother... but it would seem there is much more to her than most relies. Ingun hold the class of assassin and if made a follower she is a real force to be reckoned with. Ingun I make a follower soon after meeting her as she is great in combat has no morals... She has no desire to marry you or anyone she has her own dreams and does not want to be your leave behind. More to their back-story soon...

Our first real follower in Skyrim more than likely for you in game play is Lydia . There are two followers in Riverwood you can get earlier but they are nothing more than cannon fodder and not too great... however, at some point I may get to Faendal . Lydia receives much grief as she is eager to please but at times condescending with her tone she takes. Lydia is happy to follow you and will comment on places you go and things you do. She has had extensive training for preparing her to become a Housecarl at level 50 "level caps taken off" she has 100 skill in one handed, block, and archery. However, short shortsightedness of her training did not include lightfoot so it falls to you to train her not to set traps off. Lydia is fearless in combat and will take on any foe no matter the odds or numbers if they threaten her charge "you" they will meet her wrath. Lydia will defend your actions wrong or otherwise if a hold guard attacks you she will defend you even if you kill someone in cold blood. Lydia always has your back so take care of her give her a nice home and if your so inclined she will marry you and provide a safe environment for all you wrought on your adventures.
