With enough time and practice GIMP is more than capable of doing some pretty sweet stuff - Photoshop is great too though it comes with a hefty price tag. Never heard of XARA Designer but it looks like it has some useful stuff from a quick image search glance.

yes, it's just an easy program which does its work, but it isn't free of charge and it isn't good at all - just like every software is ...

Orcs are only a one gender race in the Lord of the Rings series (at least they are in the adaptations). Still, some people consider the Asari race of Mass Effect to be lesbian when they pair with other Asari despite there being no male members of their species.

Pointing such pointless things out is just part of the fun.
