A Dunmer machine master, Dwemer enthusiast, and all-around cool dude, Talrandu was probably my most heavily modded character at the time (November of 2012).

For his own reasons, he replaced nearly all of his body with Dwemer machines, and went on to refurbish his own personal army of automatons.


Not much else to say here except to point out that we had animated meshes figured out by one year into Skyrim's existence.

To be fair, one of my oldest reoccurring modded concepts is a Dunmer alive during the whole Red Mountain fiasco who got grabbed by the Dwemer and basically converted on the inside into cybernetics. His stick is basically trying to hoard all the rampant dwemertech and gives a good excuse for hitting all those mods with dwemer stuff related.

 

Let's face it, for as much as the dwemer are assholes, they make wonderful toys :D
