Its a mod, not sure which mod, but the glowing walking mushroom is the brother of the normal walking mushroom Pino, i've seen him a lot on MxR's videos.

Sorry, I was being unprecise. I didn't mean "which mod does that", but what's the cultural background to talking mushrooms? Where does it origin?
