Bad Ends - Eggs
Warning: Contains Chaurus
Erika moved through Solitude’s sewers, the only light coming from the eerie blue glow of chaurus eggs lining the walls. The guards had called it a simple job—clear out a few pests. But the deeper she went, the thicker the eggs clung, pulsing softly in the dark.
The tunnels were silent. No skittering, no hisses. Just the wet drip of fluid and the occasional pop of a bursting sac.
At the heart of the nest, she found a chamber packed with eggs. She stabbed one, sticky fluid oozing out
A click behind her.
She spun. A single chaurus loomed in the doorway, its black eyes fixed on her. It had been waiting. Stalking.
Before she could react, it lunged.
