Matching Collars
There's something relaxing about modelling. Scripting is a bit too close to my day job, and it always seems like work. Modelling though is just different enough to use different parts of the brain. It gives me a chance to unwind a little.
Which, I guess, is how come I came to make collars to go with the nip rings.
They're a bit rough at the moment. I want to dial down the "pitted" look on the collar, and maybe add some texture to the steel-looking bits. And the weighting needs a few bones deleting. The gem on the front distorts if the wearer rolls her neck at the moment. That's fixable.
In lieu of a lock, I put a magical catch on the back and sealed it with daedric runes.
Looks quite good, I'm thinking.
While I'm on, I sorted out the light placement on the nip rings. Even illumination, no floating red bead...
It doesn't really look the girls are being lit from the jewels on the nipple rings, but I doubt many people will care about that.
And bot parties in a sex scene get illuminated, which makes for some nice scenes.
I still need to suss out how to add ENB Lights (or complex particle system lights to be precise) to the gems. Until I do. the wearer can only have one light spell and the strongest predominates. So that collar gem is just for show at the moment. But I have a few ideas.
I also need the particle system to have a hope in hell of changing the color on the fly. I'd hoped to have magic effects with conditions and have them swap according to faction rank conditions. Which would have worked really well, except that inactive lights still count towards the "only one light effect" limit, so only one color ever works. Still, I'll keep at it. Hopefully I can find a fix before we all get sick of the color red everywhere
