Luxia and Serana had reached the end of their goal.
Both of them reached the top of the tower where they fell on Molag Bal weakened. 
Further into the Abyss of Molag Bal, they met again Molag Bal who was back in shape and waiting for them.
Luxia then tried to fight Molag Bal but his state there disaventage.
Molag Bal had then caught Luxia by the neck and was about to devour her, Serana prevented him.
At the moment when Sérana and Luxia were unprepared, Sanguine appeared and barely saved the two women. The two Daedric princes were probably engaged in a duel.
Meanwhile, Luxia and Serana find a way to return to Nirn through a portal.
She made it back to Skyrim safe and sound.

Back to the normal insanity of what is otherwise known as 4th Age Skyrim. ^^

Btw. those two images showcase very well what's wrong with that wing type (aside from it looking ... awkward at best IMHO):

If you swing your arms naturally while walking they will collide with the wing every step. As a result one would never have the hands behind the wings, because ... physics. Must be super annoying. ^^

I'm worried though that the supposed saviors of Nirn, dedicated to the eradication of all Vampires are getting eradicated by a Vampire in their own base, not exactly SAS material, are they? ^^

I know but I don’t like to be too involved in physics, arm positions etc.
Otherwise, we don’t get out.
