Devlopment Status and design plans
I in the weak of realsie new version of SLOS Remake. This version go outside of the original planned schudle.
The original plan is: fix the Step 1 and same time work on Step 2.
Well its happened i worked out lot of fixes with lots of help from community and @killer905. Plus recived lot of other help from other sources!
So big hug to all!
This is why i love to make mods!
So the change of plans is this:
Instead realsiing mod with big steps i going to realise at soon as some parts workable.
Tis going to produce few negative side effects:
-more times than i prefer one need trash the save game as new version of SLOS non upgradable.
-Sometimes things not going to work or menus exist in game but do nothing.
Okay lets talk the real deal here!

First:
My desigin idea is this: make evrything dinamic as possible. I not setup most cases things that need to happen x way, and accept the thing happen only that way. Example: if you join companions you need to do certin quest to advance on the quest line. No way around it.
I try to avoid this.
Other thing i try to do but its very very hard to explan is dinamic story making. What i mean under this:
i not setup the chain of events, i only place the element of the chain into the game. if player move certin bits and pices in the right direction in the right order chain events happen...
Some cases pure luck and npcs right positioning required of corse. Problem with this type of building things up 3 foold at minimum:
-need tons of devlopment time
-players not going to notice, at least first glance
-may produce unintentional events or side effects....
We will see how things end up, in this front

--Slaver guild reaction to player actions... not fully working but the frame work here!
slaver guild has reputation and trust toward the player. if any of this value to low you going to kicked out the slaver guild...
or not allowed to joi nthe guild....
if player exiled from the guild this is going to be permanent!
your decisions need to has waight and consiquences! yes its brutal and unfair.... i have my own reasons to make this way. i explain latter... a different writing :d
--Player can join slaver guild and become capble capture slavers for the slaver guild! For this actions get payed!
--slavers got own internal money like system that money can be used to get equipment from slavers or poitions.
--Player got a spell to mark its follower as non vannila follower, this way we can avoid nasty bugs happen when slvers try capture your followers...
--Next realsie has tons of bug fixes... and as usual brand new nasty bugs need to hunted down!

palyer can conquere nasty salver bases no longer you only kill them evry 30 day and come back to face them agin...
by the way this actions not taken lightly the slaver guild... they might take "extrame counter mesures" to stop you doing this conquering slaver bases. ( need ot implemented )
add reputatio nsitem toward salvers and slave oweners and slave owener own guild... yes they has one!
adding new shadi figures that ones act as middle man in dark dealings... they can help you out for... lot of gold!
owning slaver bases has plusses like insane income from the base... but that salver base to work you need spend a furtune on it!
And for good reason has option in future to recuit player slave defenders....
other thing is important: in this system slaves not live forever... so if you own a slaver base you need make sure well supplied with slaves.
you can hunt them down or... buy from slaver guild of corse... ( if i manage implement that )
But as you spending lot of goold on this slaver base of yours dont forget: you taken away the all mighty slaver guild... they has the ability to re conquere it! ( when implmented)
i make the system bit brutal this end: if you lose your slaver base... you lose evrything within too! Slaves, gold, your mercanarys.... ( even slavers might capture you... )
but of corse player can chose ignore the fact can manage own mini slaver empire and dont do it! its up to you

As can be seen tons of checkboxes remaining best case i belive i finish this step end of this year.
Good news is lot of fundation already in place... if they not need re made or changed drasticly shuld be realtive easy to add new sub systems...
well if need re make lot of things... its going to take a while.

-in future when things start settle down and not need re design slaver bases evry week and its requirements: help me build up slaver bases
i not great at that...
for this propuse i devlop a tool that help a mod makers to build slaver bases, this tool run checks the slaver base keywords, location references, and report if any thing out of place or missing.
so you not need deep udnertanding whats going on in script side just place the right way the right place the markers, location ref types, keywords.
-Sahare ideas, what you missing what you like to see. i not promis i make all part of the mod! i need focus on the main goals...
What is important about this things: might make me come up with new good ideas!
