Yeah ... Siddgeir is actually a good reason not to support the Empire, and in my book even ahead of Nazeem in people to execute after the revolution. Hmm? What revolution? How should I know? But obviously we need one so we can have some people executed. ^^
(And no, Ulfric and the Stormcloaks are not revolutionists, they are too dumb even for that.)

One would think that Ayrana has enough imagination to come up with a few reasons why Siddgeir is Jarl, obviously there are enough simpletons in power on Alinor as well.

For me, he is simply the worst jarl in Skyrim.
Making deals with bandits is really stupid!
And he doesn’t even know that one of his villages is destroyed.
Not to mention that he spends time doing orgies.
He doesn’t even know that one of his villages exists anymore.

Aye, and the only reason he even is Jarl is because the Empire didn't want to risk losing Falkreath too, given that Dengeir is clearly a Ulfric supporter. So his qualifications or shortcomings were irrelevant as long as he was a viable successor and loyal to the Empire. As stated, one of the reasons not to support the Empire, despite them being the saner of two insane options.
Also village? Helgen wasn't exactly smaller than Falkreath (and way more defensible), it's at least a town. And I'm not sure he doesn't know, more likely he does not wish to acknowledge it, as otherwise he would have to do something and that likely sounds way too much like work for his taste.^^

No, it’s not Helgen.
But a village that is no longer present in the game.
I don’t remember the name.
But when you hear the discussion between him and Nenya, they talk about a village that owes him money.

Ah, yes I remember that dialogue, but it says their representative, delivering the tax money is late, and Nenya advocates for giving them more time as the roads are perilous these days. Siddgeir grudgingly agrees, but wants word with the representative once he arrives. Nowhere in that exchange do I find any hint the village may have been destroyed. It's of course entirely possible, but I can't infer that from the exchange, nor do I remember coming about another destroyed village, aside from Helgen in Falkreath hold. (Granted nor did I come upon any other (vanilla) village in Falkreath, it is of course entirely possible another settlement was planned and later cut by Bethesda, but the conversation about it was accidentally left in. Still as much as I despise Siddgeir, I don't think we can lay that blame at his feet, there simply is no evidence for another destroyed (or intact) village, that in my opinion is more a shortcoming from Bethesda.)

Granit Hill.
The village was probably destroyed by Vuljotnaak.
There are only the stables.
It was abandoned by Beth.
But we can assume that it is destroyed being near the tomb of the dragon.

Siddgeir is the worst of the sitting jarls, but did you notice that outside of Ulfric, none of the sitting jarls are worthing of the title?
the one in markarth and the silverbloods either let in that daedric cult or betrayed the city by not executing the king of the forsworn. Bulgrif the greater doesnt care about the security in his city, he cares about his people but, Lawgiver only cares about herself despite what she says about Ulfric, the one in Winterhold is too blinded by hate and the loss of his city to rebuild, the one in Dawnstar is a warmonger, the ulcer in Solitude is nought but a puppet, and the one in morthal is to blinded by her own visions and wont discuss them with her people. Yes Ulfric the ulcer of windhelm, yeah he is worthy of his title more than the others, his own downside is that he doesnt like the mer and the beastfolk, but does care about skyrim and his people.

I can see Siddgeir being a womanizer, he likely does it with his bosmer steward and thus has a thing for hot looking mer.
