Well a hungry pet comes out of its hide and forages for food, so if you come out I've all kinds of tasty treats. Dubia Roaches, Locusts, Crickets, Soldier Fly Larvae, Mealworms, even some wax worms if you really deserve a treat. ?

Unless... you knew that already.  They are stuck in there old forms though they could of used the Dragon Balls to make them look young. But why they didn't I don't know. They will live very long life but they can be killed. I think it's the sacred waters that gave them eternal life. ?
